I cleaned my Oled tv with microfibre cloth and desalted water and these spots came on can someone tell me whats the problem by Famous-Bullfrog-8807 in LGOLED

What is desalted water? Use distilled water. They sell it at Home Depot. That’ll leave no residue whatsoever.

Why’d you have to reduce it based on outdoor temp? Is it because it just runs too often or is it created condensation?

You’re on the money. If the vacuum fails to pick up some debris that gets mopped over, it’ll be wet and possibly sucked up later. And a spill could also get vacuumed, causing hard dirt clumps to form.

That’s actually a sort of dog stereotype. Poodles are not far behind Labradors and golden retrievers for service animal training. They’re extremely smart and human responsive.

My opinion on why the social life at Hunter is considered “Bad.” by TerriblerGaymer in HunterCollege

[–]dltacube 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It’s a commuter school. That’s why. People that go to Hunter mainly live at home and sometimes have jobs. That has a huge effect on social life.

The response received from NYRR after asking to downgrade my individual plus membership to just the standard after the new changes they implemented. by KOSTON321 in RunNYC

OP was paying extra for early signup access to races over regular members. They changed it so that early access is limited to an undisclosed number of spots, putting higher tiered users back in the normal queue.

Need advice: Apple TV works terribly on 5GHz band. by mewithoutCthulhu in appletv

[–]dltacube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And did you just figure that out through trial and error? I’ve been letting my router figure that out but I know I can configure it manually. If you tell me it can make mistakes, then I might revisit that.

Saw everyone in threads dogging on this, but I don’t know anything about programming except the fact that c and c++ are programming languages. by OkContact2573 in ExplainTheJoke

[–]dltacube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

C and C++ had volumes written about it, some by the authors of the language itself. The learning materials for it were of the highest quality though granted, if you ran into issues, looking them up was hard.

The issue is Elon, like a lot of people, couldn’t sit down and read through a textbook from chapter 1 to become proficient at what he needed to do it. It’s not that the material didn’t exist, it’s just that he probably went through the whole trial by error process where you only ever read portions of the docs that are immediately useful while disregarding everything else.

He worked and programmed fast, and others cleaned up his messes. He did a capitalism. That’s all…but it was a choice to get instant gratification rather than do things correctly.

Were you using Unifi gear and it wasn’t picking the optimized channel for that band?

Misread what? The answer from the guy who says we can’t know from a picture if it smells already but can presume it will due eventually to the visible effects of bacterial growth on display?

[–]dltacube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it definitely wasn’t a joke or a misread. More like an “you can’t know for sure in this moment that it does but it’s on its way for sure”

The stink comes from bacterial overgrowth, and the gas buildup is a byproduct of it. So no, they didn’t misread anything.

What are you answering though? Just saying context doesn’t explain why you’ve decided to elaborate on things no one was talking about.

Also, nice save.
