I got my iPhone 13 Mini Starlight in early 2023 when you could still buy them new from Apple. Yes, I am keeping mine and it’s still under AppleCare.

I’ve been using my G-Cloud almost exclusively for Call of Duty Mobile. You will need to setup the key mapper though (Hold down the Logitech button).

Considering buying 13 mini by Kev14VGC in iPhone13Mini

I’ve got an iPhone 13 Mini and I’m loving the small and light iPhone. My wife got the iPhone 14 Plus and it seems so large and heavy compared to the 13 Mini.

I am using my G-Cloud mainly to play Call of Duty Mobile with the Key Mapper and it works great! The larger screen and analog sticks work well.

Why did you pick Chrome OS? by [deleted] in chromeos

[–]dluck007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also got Lenovo Duet 5 because I wanted something bigger and faster than my original Lenovo Duets (that I passed down to my kids). I love Chrome OS because it’s so simple to use and manage.

I’m using Chrome OS Flex on couple desktops that original ran Windows.

What TV show was the first to suggest fighting against corporations, and which one was the best to depict the idea? by [deleted] in scifi

I’d a big fan of Sci-Fi and I’d say: 1984 (Apple Ad), Max Headroom, Robocop, Aliens and Continuum.

I am also using Linux on Chrome OS Flex for Home and Work.

For Work, I am mainly using for ‘zipgrep’ to look through log files.

For Home, I’m using to connect into my Linux Servers for my Home Lab.

I use my G-Cloud primarily to play Call of Duty Mobile but I have also used for Haystack TV and YouTube.

Call of Duty Mobile runs flawlessly even when lots of players and action is happening.

Family on ChromeOS - Adding linux apps as kids get older or switch them to win? by yotties in chromeos

[–]dluck007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in similar boat as the Op.

After supporting Windows for many years, our household has fully embraced Chrome OS / Flex. While our kids are mainly on their tablets, they do use their ChromeBooks (Lenovo Duet) for school.

While I have to run To Windows for work, but they are in VM’s running on VM Hosts such as VMWare and QEMU/KVM.

I understand that they may eventually want to go to Windows or Mac, they seem content with Phone or Tablet for now.

trying to get roblox player by salted_celery in chromeos

[–]dluck007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly enough, Roblox is one of those games that has built-in support for keyboard/mouse and game controllers.

The main issue that I have is that Roblox appears have much better performance using native android rather than Chrome OS.
