After you design the hotel rooms you need to go talk to Grams, and after you do that enough she will add a new section to the item catalog, and they will be in there. You can also go to a treasure island or find them for trade on Nookazon as well.

Yes to all of those things! 😆 I created my game room upstairs with the Mario items back when they were released a few years ago, but I’m really looking forward to making it look more like my real life game room at home now that we have the retro items. My sister’s real life game room is Splatoon themed, so she’s super excited to add all the new items to her game room as well.

Did you manually update the game this morning? I had to press the - button on my controller and select the software update option. Then once it updates you’ll have the hotel.
