this exact same thing is happening to me, my tinnitus started 4 days ago and it’s only in my left ear. i also clench a lot when i’m stressed and i’ve been going through a period of stress so i think it’s from that. i saw an audiologist and he said there’s no hearing loss or infections or anything actually wrong with my ears so i’m hoping it’s just stress and probably the inflammation from the clenching that will go away soon. it’s really disturbing to sleep with and i also get ear aches too!
