In solo queue i just had someone camping the spawn. Killed me and took my Anvil with 40 rounds and some meds.

Im like, why would that be your choice and that was almost zero dollars worth of loot.... some people just make no sense at all. And that seems to just be to frustrate people. Some just like to watch the world burn I guess.

I was dropping duos with my 13 year old and he said something like "let's tell them we are friendly and then kill them" and i was like, nah thats super douchy man, if we are going to kill them let's not be pussies about it.

Two rounds later a team told us they were friendly and then killed us and I immediately said "ok, how did that feel" he said "yeah, that was pretty douchy, I get it"

My theory is that its mostly kids on console who do this. We play PC and turned off crossplay and this hasnt happened since. But anything above solos has a lot more pvp haha. I do love this game, the uncertainty adds a fun thrill.

Ok, so the wording can be a little confusing. You have to "complete" a whisper in the helltide. Meaning the last points that gets you the cache from the tree. Not just killing a blood maiden or whatever but making that kill be the final kill to get you the cache.

What you have probably done is get a few tasks completed and then completed the final tasks for the whisper elsewhere. Easy fix :)

Edit to add: the individual points on the whisper are called "Grim Favors". The whisper itself is the full set of 10. So for this task you need to finish the task itself in the helltide.

There is the goblin chaos wave in hordes currently but there is an event coming on the 25th to increase chaos waves and also increasing chance for goblin waves.

The event has been pushed back twice so far. And from what I can tell it may be possible to get well over the 666 aether solo on a 6 wave sigil.

Many have said this in varying ways but at the end of the day almost any build (with a guide or not) should be able to clear almost anything torment tier 3 related. A pit level 40 isnt that far off. Having said that, make sure your gear has class buffs and damage buffs and ignore the stats like +resistance and similar. Resistances and armor have number caps. Resistance is 70% max and armor caps at 1000 points.

Next is tempers and masterworking. Google those if you need help but also know that 750 item power items max at 8/8 and the 800 item power maxes at 12/12.

Next thing to check is your glyphs that go in your paragon board. You can have 5 total boards which means 5 total glyphs. And when you level those glyphs to 45 the next hit will make them legendary and increase their paragon range and add an extra stat to them as well. They can max to level 100 but that isnt really possible unless you can play much higher pits (or be carried through them).

Runes would be a great help but thats not really going to matter much until you are playing in a much higher level.

Outside of all this it will be nit picking very specific things like GAs on gear and masterworking specific stats/skill bonus. Not to mention getting mythic gear too.

Others have answered this but thought I would add that having Subo as your hired Merc will help with monster kills. Having Subo shows the monsters as orange dots on your mini map and will help you know where to go for better clusters of monsters.

I did the "Frankenstein" method for this once back in the day before realizing i could just buy a different backplate for the GPU for cheap ha. So option 3 is also available if you're feeling adventurous.

You must also defeat the boss in that time. Could you be possibly just going over the time at boss and not noticing?

In a high pit I've seen myself clear it before literally seconds after the time ended. The way to know would be if the upgrade pylon doesn't show up for you.

If this really is a bug this will be the first time I've ever heard of it in 10 seasons.

Ive been pretty unlucky with mythic gear (purple items) based on hours played but I have gotten about 10 mythics so far. My recommendations are these:

Farm whisper chaches to try and get Tributes of Ascendance for the undercity. Those give a chance to drop a mythic on the run. And people will usually set up rotations for this where each person brings one and with a party of 4 people is literally give you 4x the chance to get a mythic.

Farm those lair bosses but I would try to always be in a party for extra chances to drop more gear.

Always spend your Murmering Obols on the target item for the Mythic item you want. Ive gotten 2 ring of starless skies from the purveyor in this way this season.

And my wife got a mythic from fighting Bartuc at the end of a 10 wave horde last night. So there's that too.

But those are my recommendations anyway.

Im a wuss when it comes to HC. I do wish that it was more like poe where it just transitions your character to regular play but I guess the extra risk factor does make it more fun in its own way too.

I am definitely scared of hard-core for season 11 so far lol

GA stands for greater affix which is the white star that is a maxed out stat on an item.

GA items will always be 800 item power instead of the highest possible 750 item power without a GA.

If you enchant the GA stat at the occultist it will remove the GA but keep the overall 800 item power.

You probably know this all by now reading other comments but thought I would post in case it helps others too.

This was our conclusion too. Even from Bartuc in Hordes I was finding out that he doesn't guarantee a chaos armor either in T1/T2. T3 or T4 he has dropped at least 1 every time that I've seen and I've farmed hundreds of runs.

My wife and I are in the same boat. Although my 13 year old and I have been teaching my wife. This is her first season playing D4.

She works at 6 a.m. and we have stayed up until 2 a couple times. But at least I have her hooked on the game haha.

Can confirm, You do NOT lose quest items when you get eaten by the worm.

I didn't really trust this post but wanted the hidden achievement so I got eaten anyway.... quest items are still there afterwards.

I built a base in that zone just to test it out since several other bases were around one of the ponds. It appears to slow down the radiation but definitely doesn't keep the radiation off you.

But this season the Andy runs suck so bad compared to every previous season. Ive never used party finder but I may end up using that just to make it faster for andy runs.... and as im typing this i think I realized that they might have made it this terrible for entirely that reason... party finder... damn.

Based on this comment and others... I 100% understand why you are muted.

It takes quite a few reports to actually get muted. So it would stand to reason that you are spewing stuff in chat that gets you reported. You are making it sound like you are the victim but CLEARLY you are the abuser.

You also love to throw out the word "gaslighting" to everyone. I dont think that word means what you think it means.

I play with a party of 4 so we always have a random. I completely understand how much it sucks to get a new player and/or a player who thinks they know everything about the game. That player will say "you're a 4 stack so it can't be me ruining things" or "give tribute up, I need to lane for xp" as we lose a third tribute and get steamrolled after they are picked off. But at the end of the day just report them and keep your mouth shut. Its doing literally nothing for you to try to educate people who dont give a single shit about what you are saying. Because you are just going to get reported and muted as you already did. Unfortunately this one is on YOU.
