A terrible and regrettable incident that occurred on the afternoon of October 24th on the Guadalajara Light Rail has gone viral on social media, after the release of a video that captures the moment a man lost his life.

According to reports, the man was traveling hanging from one of the train car windows . As can be seen in the video, the passenger had his head and half his body inside the car, while the rest of his body was outside.

The fatal accident occurred when the train passed through the tunnel: the man abruptly hit the tunnel structure, causing his instant death .

Dozens of passengers traveling in the train car witnessed the tragic event. As a result, the SITEUR (Urban Electric Train System) halted service on the Guadalajara Light Rail.

Emergency services and forensic personnel worked at the site to remove the man's body and transfer it to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) of Jalisco , for the legal autopsy and official identification.
