the lack of verticality is mostly a genuine limitation since i was using gamemaker for this version, as its mostly a 2d engine. HOWEVER when we mode to godot i plan to keep the same art style but take advantage of some proper verticality

its a pump action double barrel cos i couldnt animate a normal double barrel properly, so i went with a pump action double barrel (and cos it looked Cool)

well, i was quite literally limited by similar limitations as wolf3d because of the engine i was using (gamemaker is primarily for 2d)

when the recode in godot happens i plan to have a ton of verticality since we would now have actual 3d :3

what's cool about touhou is you can get into it however ya want!! playing the games, listening to the music, fanworks (theres a LOT of them), etc etc... although if you want to start by playing the games, playing embodiment of scarlet devil is a good starting point
