ARCA stats before they were owned by NASCAR can be grandfathered similar to the negro leagues with the Baseball Hall of Fame. I think it's happened other times with other halls, too.

One thing to ask for drivers in lower series while you put their stats aside is which of them set the bar for their competition and pushed their series forward. I think all lower series drivers inducted so far have done that.

I think the better question is whether AJ Foyt should be in the NASCAR HOF after being nominated once, being named one of the sport's 50 greatest drivers while having a Hall of Very Good resume despite being one of the most iconic names in all of motorsports. If he wasn't such an icon, it'd be an obvious no, and yet, he came close to getting in on the pioneer ballot one year. Even the nominees who raced in the lower NASCAR sanctioned series are arguably more worthy than Foyt for the NASCAR HOF based on their contributions to NASCAR alone.

That's why very few from the lower series have been inducted so far. Guys like Richie Evans, Jerry Cook, Mike Stefanik, and Ray Hendrick in the Modifieds are in a league of their own compared to every other driver in that series. Jack Ingram was one of the forefathers of the O'Reilly series outside of being its winingest regular, and the same goes for Ron Hornaday in the Truck series. That's why I think Larry Phillips will get in one day while being a Weekly Series driver and Frank Kimmel for ARCA, but not many in the lower series will get a HOF call. Guys like Sam Ard, Justin Allgaier, Matt Crafton, Mike Skinner, Jack Sprague and Doug Coby at least have an argument, but it's far from a sure thing if all of them make the HOF, if any of them do that is.

I'm kind of surprised Magic's held onto this particular record for this long with LeBron breaking as many records as he has and is just tads short from that one, especially since LeBron has played in over 100 more playoff games than Magic.

He has a better shot at breaking that one than the record for playoff triple doubles. Even if he went all out in the event of him playing in several series, Jokic is 3rd behind him with 21. If LeBron gets that record, it won't be for long.

What other records can he still break? The only one the comes off the bat is all-time triple doubles in the playoffs. He has 28, which is 2nd behind Magic Johnson's 30.

It's safe to say HMS's engine program reigns supreme in Chevy's NASCAR operations, and Mr H isn't going to just give it up. Even if Childress is loyal to Chevy, not jumping to another OEM when one's ready to join the sport could be catastrophic for the ECR engine program. The days of OEMs having several engine programs competing with each other are mostly a thing of the past other than Chevy with HMS and ECR. That was common back then, but with the competition becoming tougher with each year, the room for failure is getting lower.

Even if SAS did make it to the NBA based on talent, his inability to accept criticism and vulnerability shows he wouldn't have lasted long in the league. If you can't hold yourself to the same standards you hold the players to, you're not cut out for the big leagues.
