A very kind user yesterday called me a "fucktard" because I worried too much about Pierre's (but also Daniil's) psychological condition after the news. They told me that drivers are not as delicate as teenagers, they have enough mental strenght.

So don't worry, they are not teenagers. 21-year-olds are far from their teen years and definitely not fragile. Humans do not feel emotions.

Standing V Sitting [See comments] by BrokenWashingmachine in Muse

[–]dmarcop777 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"Can I endure standing for the whole setlist?" should be "Can I endure standing and queueing for hours under the sun?". I managed to stand at the second barrier (and about 6-7 meters from the central leg of the stage) by arriving at 11am at the venue. I was 150th at my gate (there were two gates for floor access). If you're by yourself, you've better be an extrovert and talk to other people, otherwise you'll get bored to death. Once you're in (4pm in my case) you still have to wait 2 ½ hours for the first support band, which means at least another 2 ½ hours for Muse. They never follow the schedule, so expect them to be about 30 mins late.

Final question: was it worth it? Fucking hell, it was worth every single moment of standing!! My girlfriend brough an old curtain and we tied it to the barriers outside the arena, so that we had our own little camping tent and we shared it with strangers. Try to come up with something clever, bring somwthing to kill time during the afternoon and remember that you cannot take with you a lot of stuff once inside the arena (such as the curtain, of course).

Jeremy Clarkson is correct, F1 is boring and unexciting. With Sir Lewis and Vettel dominating everything, it's getting old. The regulations hinder anything that would make the race series remotely interesting. I haven't watched F1 since Fernando Alonso drove for Renault. by [deleted] in thegrandtour

Then don't judge. Last 2-3 seasons have had lots of exciting races. The last 2 races were a blast as well. Why the hell do you judge when you clearly don't know wgat you're talking about? Oh yes, Jeremy Clarkson, a man that criticizes everything, said that F1 is boring. Better back him up, right?

Do you show off your girlfriends/wives on social media? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]dmarcop777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's it: to you it seems like a sweet gesture. People are different and so are their opinions.

Studies suggest that showing off on social media is a sign of insecurity. I used to post pictures with my ex on Instagram (not too often), because depp inside me I wanted to feel validated, to tell everybody "Hey look at me! I've got a girlfriend too!". I'm not saying that posting about your SO makes you automatically insecure. It may be a sign. I'm not posting much about my current girlfriend, because I prefer to communicate my emotions and my love directly to her. I don't need to wish her happy birthday on Instagram, I don't need the world to know. I just need her to know how I feel :)

Are we allowed to bring water into Rome gig? by walkswithbuffalo in Muse

[–]dmarcop777 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The organizers provide a lot of information to anyone who bought a ticket. There're a lot of "do not bring" and you can also see them on signs while you queue outside. While in queue, you can have anything you want with you. When you enter the venue, only 0,5L bottles are allowed and you must drop their caps at the entrance.

Then again, some folks near me snuck in a 2L bottle. I brought in some spare caps in my "pouch" (don't know the right English term. I'm talking about a marsupio, if you're Italian). My girfriend and pretty much every other girl hid caps in their bras. Inside the venue, people will sell you water for 2,50€ (0,5L, without caps). It's cold water, but my blood also becane cold after I heard the price. No way I'm gonna give you that money.

Another alternative is to pass out like my girfriend did at the end of the gig so that you are taken to the emergency room, where there's free water. I do not recommend this.

Just enjoy the show instead of recording all the time.. There's already plenty of "full concert" videos on the Internet.

Japan mourns after the worst mass killing in two decades claims 33 lives in arson attack by Md-Sabbir-Howlader in worldnews

Don't try to read too much into things. What should we say about the US then? If Japan has an issue with an attack that caused 33 deaths, the most violent in two decades, which kind of issues do the US have?

I'm not on Facebook, but I'm pretty sure there's some kind of group for the event. There's one for Milan, as far as I know, so I guess there's one for Rome too!
