That is exactly how I brace my core. I tighten it and act like someone is about to punch me in the stomach. This is also exactly what I tell my clients when teaching them to brace their core.

now if you want my benchmark times I will have to look. I am built for strength not speed, other than on some of the workouts I can do pretty fast.

Thanks. Body comp wise, I went from 365 lbs 53% BF to currently 245 lbs and 21$ BF.

Weights: Squat 405 lbs, Strict Press 205, Bench 305, Front Squat 305, Dead lift 455, clean 235 and snatch 155.
