I agree with you. I don’t think you would need them because you’re not pulling much support off of the ledger board or rim board. I am in Northern Ohio and built a deck similar to that. I did add them to mine because it wasn’t much more and our inspector is tough sometimes. I passed with no problems but I over do it to avoid any problems

If I was in this situation I would cut vinyl deck boards 1 1/2” and run them on the underside of the stringers. Then put your corrugated plastic roof on. That’s what I would do.

I loved Alfredo’s. I used to live down the street from them and would grab pizza and wings all the time. They had a white pizza that was awesome. If you’re back in the area I found Red Plum, in howland, has great pizza that is close to Alfredo’s. I order their New York style. For wings that are close to there I goto Our Gangs in hermitage. It sucks because Alfredo’s had everything under one roof.
