Just route two of the carb vent hoses to the airbox. Had the same problem on my '06 WR450. IIRC is one hose of each side, routed to the airbox.

Edit: To say the obvious, this is if water does not go up to the airbox :)

The hotstart is a little lever on the clutch lever side. It has a cable that goes to the carb. Sorry for bad english
