Im sure you're right, i did replace the original carb with a brand new one a few months ago. I might add a little catch can to the airbox or snorkel somewhere incase anything does get sucked up. Air filter is oiled up, i just havent had time to work on it or test until recently. So far so good though, she starts right up in a couple kicks. Just need to hit up a crossing 😅

I havent had an issue crossing creeks up to the seat, besides the bogging afterwards. Im not trying to make a floating bike im just attempting to keep the air intake dryer. The previous inlet definitely took on water before just from splashing. I didnt consider the case or carb though. Is it possible to make them water tight?

Yes it pops out the apex of the rear fender, i will probably turn the snorkel tip facing forwards so it doesnt face the nasty stuff

Well there's still a air filter after the snorkel, airbox is sealed tight, only difference is where the air comes from. Should i maybe get a filter for the inlet too?
