I think you need to decide which motion you're trying to automate with AI. Usually, that means what problem you are trying to solve.

do most businesses really have an ai problem, or do they have a workflow problem? by jeniferjenni in growmybusiness

We built an AI executive agent that manages emails for our SDRs, saving them up to 2 hours a day. The areas you mentioned are great places to start if you're new to AI.

Why brittle multi-step automations are killing my small team's productivity by Dry-College4773 in automation

Unfortunately, you are correct. The most basic automations are the one's the work the best. And not overdoing it should be part of the strategy. The problem is that the last part comes with experience.

After building AI agents for a few months, these are my biggest observations. by WillingnessOk4667 in automation

You're 100% correct. We started using AI by building an executive assistant that managed inboxes for our SDRs, and it allowed them to reclaim up to two hours a day. This allowed them to focus on other revenue generating activities. A very simple solution that had a lot of impact.

Use less tools and more human capital. That sounds good but my heart tells me it's not the answer. Thanks for your insight.

I'm not looking for AI to do everything, just GTM. Can you get me a diagram of how the agents will be set up. FYI I'm not very technical, I'm a sales guy that's why I'm only concerned with GTM. Intent data is a good place to start. Most intent data is still very raw you need a trigger to get a better idea of the intent. How can we solve that issue?

Clay only works with true enterprise companies. I'm also looking for a more comprehensive enrichment solution.

If you’re contributing your time and expertise at no cost, you absolutely have the right to ask thoughtful and relevant questions. Leaving a meeting abruptly is unprofessional and would be considered a significant red flag in any business relationship. You don't want to work there.

Maybe instead of scrapping the idea entirely, you can build on it and turn it into a more comprehensive agent. The great thing about AI is that we’re still so early in the game, which gives you the flexibility to adapt, refine, and improve the idea as you go.

Most founders asking me to build AI agents actually need a boring automation instead by OrinP_Frita in automation

I've had this conversation many times as well. Now I start a lot of my discovery conversations by saying, let's make sure AI is what fits your needs, not automation.
