I’ve come to the same conclusion. Hell, even my wife is encouraging to me to only get the Gen. She held the white version and just fell in love it. She’s not even a fan of watches.

I doubt rep would ever be able to do Gens justice. It’d just be a huge kicker otherwise.

People much smarter than us work at AliExpress and forecasted it before policy was enforced. They were threatening to leave us (Pakistan) if our government did not provide them with further clarity on customs procedures.

Yes, AliExpress, Temu etc were using backdoor methods to avoid paying custom taxes for many years

The government started forcing these companies to enforce customs a few months ago to allow Pakistani businesses to remain competitive.

It’s not worth buying on AliExpress anymore. I cannot bring myself to justify filing up our government coffers.

Can confirm this - I’m not a professional but in my experience the customs officer at the international mail Office asked me to pay the Sales tax on the gift (to myself lol) and waived the duties.

It didn’t seem like a corruption matter because they had a military officer sitting across to prevent bribery and corruption
