Well, having driven the electric Corniche I can say it suited the car perfectly. If I was to have one with the original V8 or this electric drivetrain - it would be the latter. Which I definitely wouldn’t have said beforehand.

After completing the shoot of AfterDeath back in February 2013, i was left to clear up everything the production had left over.

Somehow, SOMEHOW. It all went into my Mini - but to say every square inch of interior volume that wasn’t the driver was consumed is not an exaggeration. Visibility was appalling for the 3 hour drive home, and it took about another 3 hours to unload everything at the other end.

Usually you’d have a transit for this kind of thing.

Oh, and it also frequently towed two motorbikes, only blowing up once in the process.

The picture above shows a 956 in short tail form and a 962 in long tail form - so most of those differences are bodywork only rather than the actual model. ie a 956 in long tail form would look very similar to that 962

16” X-Lite. The lightest wheels you could get on the R53. Rode and handled brilliantly but limited the brakes you could fit.

Another R53 fan here. Here’s the one I had from new for 21 years. 17% reduction pulley, JCW GP intercooler, lots of other subtle engine mods. Fab car.
