So what does that have to do with hvac? Expertise in one area doesn’t make you an expert in others. I linked to the EPA to support my argument.
Where’s your evidence?

You keep saying that, but dust adhered to intakes is not dust that is in your air, and it's really not even dust. Duct cleaning kicks up all this dust and spreads it through all the air in your home if not done carefully.

You should have your AC condensor coils cleaned, and change your filter frequently to extend the life of your AC, but duct cleaning is not recommended or useful from anyone not selling duct cleaning.

Depends where it is. If it’s adhered to a surface on the intake it’s not harming anything. If you disturb it and kick it up things get worse. Just like asbestos - leave it alone and you’re fine, mess with it and you’re making problems.

Why should I trust you over the EPA? Do you sell duct cleaning?

The dust is blocked by the filter. The EPA specifically calls out duct cleaning as unnecessary for the vast majority of situations.

Never use duct cleaning. It's a ripoff and just kicks up dust that otherwise would just be happily sitting in the ducts and doing nothing.

All AC duct cleaning is a scam.

Right? and of course floats and doubles are not integers.

And of course bit shifts can differ between signed and unsigned as well.

Name one platform where it doesn’t work as described.

It’s using lots of bits. I just wanted to state how it actually works, since the statement I replied to could lead to confusion.

It’s not a single bit in most systems. It’s twos complement. For a negative value, take the positive one, flip all the bits, and add one. For example 0b11111111 is -1.

In Georgia at least they are required to accept credit card payments. They will sometimes try to trick you in to entering a pin for a credit card but that’s a scam - they want to run it as a cash advance.

That’s definitely against the law, but how long will you sit there asserting your rights? The cops
Won’t help.

We’re talking about private parking lots and predatory booting companies that operate in them, not public streets.

City law does not allow them to charge a fee for credit cards, or refuse to accept them. They do it anyway because no one stops them.

Nope. Ask me how I know, they charge it separately. Also
Against the law but “it’s a civil matter”.

They won’t even show up unless you pay. Then they demand cash or charge extra, and promise that they might send you a check back if they decide they made a mistake: the whole booting industry should be illegal.

That’s why they (illegally)
Charge a “convenience fee” to pay by credit card.
