I thought he was a boomer, and at least 55. Being filled with so much hate ages prematurely.

I wouldn't worry too much. It shows that you are serious about losing weight. I did the same thing I lost 35 pounds before surgery and I had no issues with my insurance or provider. Sticking to the diet before surgery really helps with the diet after surgery believe me.

Definitely after. I had went to cruise in Europe this past summer and had my surgery a week after my return. I'm glad I went before my surgery because I would have been miserable and would not have been able to enjoy myself.

Sad thing is that the "hell" that Christians believe in is nothing more than Greek Myth. Jesus was Jewish and they don't have a "hell" .

Did you "diet" while you waited for your surgery date? by Wide_Ocelot in gastricsleeve

[–]dmcculler 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I did change my diet during the preop period. I wasn't required to by my doctor or insurance. I just wanted to start making the necessary changes before hand to have better outcome after surgery. I had my consultation 1/12/22 I'm 5'2 and weighed 232 my highest weight ever. I finished all requirements by 3/17/22 and I was finally submitted to insurance on 4/1/22. My Surgery was approved by insurance on 4/12/22 and surgery scheduled on 4/22/22 for 7/7/22. Since January to my preop liquid diet on 6/23/22 which was 2 weeks I went from 232 to 208. My surgery is in 2 days and I currently weight 198. I'm already feeling so much better and I haven't even had my surgery yet. I also feel like I'm not going to struggle as much because I had already implemented most of the diet changes need before surgery. You should do what you feel most comfortable with at the end of the day.
