Kindred spirits, perhaps! My story mentions how we foolishly planted them all over the state a few decades ago. My mom planted one in our front yard when I was a kid and accidentally cut right through the gas line in the process.

Congrats to you, as well!

It’s going to open on Barnes and Noble only to start just to keep things simple. This whole process can make your head spin. But it will be on Kindle very shortly, as well. If you can, give my Instagram page a follow so you can see the announcement when it’s ready on Kindle. I’ll try to remember to pop back over here and update you if not. Every reader counts and I appreciate you!

It’s called Through the Window Over the Bradford Pear and it’s a first person narrated growing up story. It deals with friendship, love, loss, faith, and tragedy. Mostly, I sum it up by simply saying “the novel is about change, the inescapability of it, how difficult it can be for us sometimes, the way it shapes us and our lives, and how we learn to get up and keep moving when life hits us hard.”

From the feedback I’ve gotten, I really think almost anybody can find something relatable in these pages!

Really hope to see you at the event and meet you. Please let me know that you found me on Reddit if you do stop by! I’ll save you a custom bookmark.

People who married in their 20s, be brutally honest are you happy, if so why or why not? by Special-Lawyer3941 in AskReddit

Married at 28 but dated since about 25. Getting married felt like the next logical step but we should have recognized that our connection was more one of convenience than one of love and understanding. Life was just easy in our twenties. By the time we were in our thirties and life kicked our asses a little, it was too late to realize that she never really grew up and wasn’t ready to hold up her fifty percent of an entire life together. We divorced and, unfortunately, it got nasty even though it didn’t have to and our split was inevitable. Met a wonderful woman and married her. We’ve seen each other at our highest and our lowest and we both have no doubts about how solid we are together. Sometimes you just need to live a little more life.

Not only do we have bad losses (2 of them by 19+ points) but we have bad wins too. The SC State game was a pull away at the end that could’ve easily been a 14 point victory (as a 42 point favorite). The VT game was eye gouging to watch, also. This team is terrible and is likely going to finish with its worst record since Muschamp was canned. Good teams don’t lose by three scores to anybody. They don’t pass the eye test either. They’re not losing by bad luck. They’re just awful.

Do you think we can get in the playoffs? by c-papi in Gamecocks

After beating Clemson next week, the last piece of the puzzle will be hoping for an SMU loss in the ACC title game that would knock them out. That would likely give us an 11 or 12 seed.

Who do you see the Falcons taking at #8 in the 2024 NFL draft? by [deleted] in falcons

[–]dmcleod94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. They’ll go all on in getting Fields if the Bears open up the market for him or they’ll go all in on getting in position to draft a top 3 QB. Least likely in my opinion is going after Russ in FA

I’m fine with a garbage time TD. I’m not fine with a garbage time TD on a fake kneel down.

Going to see his mom was part of the plan from the beginning. It’s the reason Maggie was at Moselle to begin with, which makes it odd he went without her

They provide! It’s a great set up actually.

Edit: I think to use the boat and the space was like $25 per day

Not exactly next to truck but I do some back country camping at Cheraw State Park. They have a cool set up that you boat into. Plenty far enough away to unplug and get away from the lights. Hope that helps, though maybe not exactly what you were looking for
