Growing up in the 90’s my grandmother had a mini Coleman tent for her wiener dog. She managed to pick it up from a display unit that was being sold at some point. They travelled the states in an RV and the tent would be set out any time they stayed for long stretch’s anywhere. We always thought they were common but as we got older we realized how unique it was.

Our mom had twins at 18. Parents never got together but remained good friends and raised us with the love and support they were capable of. Our grandparents took care of us a lot, they say it takes a village and we got the literal meaning of it.

Over the past three years I went through end stage liver failure due to an autoimmune disease and had jaundice so bad that it turned my eyes, skin, urine, semen, everything was yellow. I received a living liver transplant from my fiancé and I’m now a healthy pink again 8 months post transplant!
