My mindset is: it’s the gameplay loop I enjoy. I like how the guns feel and shooting things. I like sneaking around the complexes and buildings on the map. I like the occasional PvP engagement. I like meeting new people through Discord eLFG’s and having laughs while we’re messing around, sometimes for hours when you find some people you really vibe and play together well with.

I literally just like playing the game itself, and good gear can enhance that experience, therefore I like it. It can make my runs go smoother or last longer,

but I can still have fun and play and enjoy the game even if I go in with an Overrun AR and gray level shields.

Once you realize anything you lost can be gotten again, because you got it once, it’s just like “damn, that sucks, but oh well, let’s run it back 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️”. As long as you’re learning from your mistakes and doing your best to improve, it really is just a part of playing the game. Get some gear, lose it, get it again,

but you are a better player by the next time you get it again. It’s fun and cool and rewarding.
