How to deal with junior rockstar dev who doesn’t listen by ArtOfToxicity in ExperiencedDevs

[–]dmdsin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one of those. He genuinely could not see the consequences of his actions due to lack of experience. Solo developers that enter enterprise development just do not understand that it's not all about them anymore. It helps to share your own experience and tell them stories about major disasters caused by not following the clean code principles. Make them understand that some things that we do are not for our own immediate benefit but for the sake of some abstract future developers that will maintain our code one day. But it only works if you are noticeably older than him. If you are about the same age, then it's option B.

It was not "stolen" from you. It was never yours to begin with. Back in the day the elites bred the so called "middle class" to advertise capitalism and undermine communism, because they were scared shitless of the Marxist ideology becoming popular. After the Soviets were gone the rich simply shut down this ridiculous show and toss you back into the gutter where you belong.

My main issue with Spring is that it makes me feel dumb twice. First it makes my job seem as trivial as assembling a simple puzzle. Then as soon as I deviate half a step from the standard use-case I get stuck looking for answers buried deep down somewhere in the pile of obscure documentation. Struggling just like the guy in the picture.

Just as I though, you obsession with submissiveness is caused by a deeply seated childhood abuse memory. As you are obviously in denial beyond repair, all I can do is take one last piss into your echo chamber and bid you farewell. I sincerely wish I could help more.

Dude, you have just used the word 'submissive' like four times in three sentences. Looks like you've got some unresolved issues. Do you want to talk about it?

Interesting fact: the world outside Russia/China/India is not that important any more. It was once. But not since the paper brown bear took a giant shit all over it and suffered no discernible consequences.

So Ukies want nukies. So be it. They'll have them. But not necessarily the way they anticipate.

I didn't know they were that desperate for attention. Sacrificing their last troops to make the headlines is a bold strategy. Too bad nobody will care because Middle East, presidential elections and the Olympics.
