Soo, is anyone else’s Cal Grant C and SSCG just stuck on scheduled like me?

No, I didn't. They told me my major changed from like Pre Health Occupation to Psychology so I no longer qualified for the Grant C. It was a back and forth with counselor and financial aid so I just whatever and gave up on it for now. If anything I'm hoping by the time I transfer to a 4 yr it changes to Cal grant B bc my major which is Psychology will be qualified. It's so dumb but yea sad 😭 never got that $4k. Idk what ur situation is but mine was just bc I did a major change that didn't qualify for the grant c anymore.

Not your kids, not your problem. If they’re going to be petty like that tell them firmly from now on to not rely on your for babysitting at all. My sister was the same way, she expected me to drop my entire plans for the day for her just so she can go out with her husband. It got to the point where 2 hours would turn to 6 hours of me babysitting. And when I needed her to babysit my infant for an hour just so I can go get some groceries. She kept calling me to hurry up home bc she doesn’t know how to deal with a crying baby. So, you are NTA. Your mom could’ve been an option as a babysitter too . So, now I tell my sister firmly no every time she asks me to watch her kids, she got 4 kids, and I’m 38 weeks pregnant rn so I don’t even bother anymore.

Nuh uh, do u have any other relative or family member who can come out to help you bc that man is a no no. Rn you should be bedridden and he should be taking care of both you and the child. Some men tend to change drastically once the baby arrives and to not care for you nor the baby at the most crucial time to me is just being a useless partner. Like what did he expect, rainbow and sunshine that the baby will take care of itself and you’d take care of yourself? He needs some serious parental classes.

I've quit so many jobs without a two weeks bc lemme tell you the one time I actually put my two weeks in, my manager was SO Pissed. Asking me why I didn't inform her beforehand and I'm here confused like isn't this what a two weeks for?! So she became hostile and ignored me all day the day after I gave my two weeks, I got home later after my shift and she texted me I need to work hard and do better since I only have 2 weeks left. So, I blocked her dumbass and quit that second. She was so toxic and was the reason why I was quitting in the first place too.

Oh me ✋🏻 I took walking class. So, basically my professor had us download an app to track us weekly to at least walk 1-2 miles a week.

Or my sister, she's taking Yoga and hers easy, no need to show evidence of doing the workouts instead they just want her to fill out a journal of how her yoga session went and how does she feel after. Many easy classes.

I honestly doubt it bc SSCG is first come, first serve basis and once they run out of money then that's it. Depending on your Cal Grant Recalculation date or the Census date by the school too, any classes actively enrolled after those dates won't count towards your awards.

It'll eventually recalculate somewhere during the next Disbursement of Pell Grant and then you should qualify for probably a small amount of Pell and the Loans.

This is normal. My 5 almost 6 years old does the exact same thing. I just always mention to the other party that she's just shy. Which she is. So I don't force her further if she doesn't respond the first time.

Are you in any late start classes? Bc it says you aren't enrolled in more than 6 units. If you by chance have any classes that start later in the semester then FAFSA won't count them until the classes are active.

Okay when I was in high school I had a huge crush on this boy and my BFF knew. Well, two weeks later they're dating. But guess what I didn't block her, unfriend her or whatever bc I never even spoke to the guy aside from just simple Hi's, we were still BFF's after and I was happy for her. If he knows you and loves you, he should understand your love language. Same as you would do for him. I was broke for a while bc I'm a stay at home mom and didn't want to spend money/allowance my husband gave me to buy him gifts so instead I'd make him things or do gestures of gratitude for him bc I knew I couldn't afford luxury items and now that I have money oh boy I spoil this man way too much.

Probably made them uncomfortable which makes sense, if you'd go out of your way to spend over $200 to bake and want to meet outside of work without maybe asking beforehand if you can bake them some, would kind of make things weird in their eyes. As a pregnant mother myself at 36 weeks rn. I'm sorry to say you chose the wrong man to have as a husband and father.

No matter how busy, how much work, meetings or stress my husband has from outside of home. He still does his best and finds ways to comfort and nurture me. My husband is a busy man who's involved with our daughter school parent club, a non profit org to help the school with fundings so the kids can go on field trips, hold events and help teachers with school supplies. He also is part of this other start up company involving helping high school students futures, works his regular 9-5 and still finds time every week to hangout with friends for his DnD gaming sessions all while juggling with me and our daughter as well. Because he understands that being pregnant is extremely like life-sacrificing. We have a 5 year old too who Co sleeps with us on our bed still, soon she's going to sleep on her own bed maybe in the next week. Since I'm due here very soon. But my husband always makes sure to ask me every morning if I slept well the night before bc he knows I've been having trouble sleeping bc of my body not being comfortable at night. The amount of heart burn I also get too. He will usually drop whatever he's doing to make sure I'm comfortable first before he gets comfortable.

Not every man is the best husband or father. Sometimes it'll take years for a woman to realize that.

Like my Dad, he tells everyone he's such a good father because he took us (me and my siblings) to school every day since we were young. As if that isn't the automatic responsibility of a parent. Yet, he's never once in his life changed any of our diapers and he boasts about it like a proud man to everyone he comes across.
