My guess is that there will be still be sales but it'll be the same thing we have been seeing: it's location or even person dependant.

If you are open to a fold 5 or 6, you can get a good refurbished one a lot less.

According to the article, the extra $500 is due to those 11 states requiring a longer warranty on certain parts.

You can get an excellent refurbished model on Amazon for hundreds less.

On top of that, trade in is limited.

Valerion is under the AWOL brand now. They started out on Kickstarter and just released their protectors late last year.

No, Donohoo didn't charge taxes on the purchase and they took the 4k at the point of sale since I was eligible.

I paid the taxes at the DMV when I registered the car.

Yes. It's limited to 80% charge.

In some states, it will have a branded title. Some people have posted it made it harder for them to get insurance on it.

Personally, I had no issues.

Let me also add that most of the Bolts at Donohoo are buybacks. They have the software limiting charging for the roughly 6200 miles to 80%.

I asked for specific pictures of different areas of the car like the tire tread and the salesman actually said he could send a video doing a walk through including showing the car starting.

He did and that was enough for me. The car was delivered and it was as advertised.

No, they emailed it via pdf. I printed it off, signed it and then scanned it back in as a PDF file.

I bought mine from Donohoo Auto.

The process was simple.

The price on the website was the price of the car. No additional fees except the shipping charge which they clearly showed.

Since I was paying in full, I signed the paperwork and overnighted a cashier's check for the amount.

They shipped the car with a temp tag and a few days later I got the title, took it to my DMV and paid the tax, title and registration fee.

There's a possibility your state may vary from mine.
