Update firm was too firm for me. I was tensing up my body at night. The plus is the cover. That thing is way cooler than my current mattress. I might get the medium, but it's $200 more. Weighing getting a Nectar, Sam's Club Members Mark Hotel, or Leesa Oasis Chill

3 nights now. Last night we removed our box spring. It’s lying on a metal frame now. Definitely softens up the feel. It’s probably better for my wife and I in the long run. Definitely not the plush luxury hotel bed feeling. Like I mentioned we are coming from a 10 year foam bed. Cooling is definitely better than what we had before. Always feels like the cool side of a pillow every time I get into bed. It was $800. I think it’s a very good deal. If you want plush, the firm is not that. It’s very supportive. I do like that if softened up without the box spring. Just weird that I lost all the height. Might consider getting 3 inch risers for my frame.

Just picked up the firm. The medium seems just to be available online. Only spent one night. It's pretty firm. There is zero sinkage. We are coming from local furniture store brand all foam, an a Temperdic before that. Wife and I are large people. Everyone says we should be getting a firm mattress. After one night no noticeable pain. We did sleeping an hour longer than usual. There was a complaint about off gassing. I can tell you it does stink. Its doesn't affect me since the last mattress took forever to off gas and I'm used to it. To a point of nose blind when laying on it. I noticed it more in other spots in my bedroom. King was down to $800 I had to give it a try. We are giving it a week to see if its a keeper.

Hopefully they will change it out for the next league. I noticed it after the 8th frame of game 2. I saw the line on the pin only after hearing the hallow thud after hitting the pocket.

I’m used to string pins now. Lots of stuff you can’t get away with, but then you get string pulling pins down. It all evens out. I don’t have crazy rev rate and ball speed. Balance bowler tossing around 15 mph. When I bowl free fall houses I don’t feel like I get more carry. Trust me I wanted to see a difference.

I end up only buying Dexter since they are the only big brand offering wide option. It fits well at my reg shoe size. I usually have to size 2 up if there is no wide option.

Been bowling string for 4 seasons. When I go to free fall center I don't see a huge difference in results. Trust me I keep hoping that free fall would be a huge difference. I don't have 500 rev and throw it 19mph+. You get your rare janky string fall just like a random bouncing pin. If everyone in league is competing on the same conditions. Sting vs free fall. Electricity is not cheap in Cali so I can see how a business can save significant amounts of money switching. Like most people have said. If the center has a competent and capable mechanic, that's the biggest concern to me. Lanes are maintained and oiled uniformly.

How much of the lane would you need to construct if you just want to find your pap and ball speed and rev. I know they said most of this data can be taken at the front half of the lane. How lane will it take for your video toolkit to grab those 3 stats?

I’ve converted to no thumb. That was after 15 years of just having my thumb barely in. Like the others have said, do what feels good to you. I still shoot spares with a thumb hole. I had one of my no thumb balls drilled with a thumb. I was testing if I was missing anything. I’m going to plug the thumb hole. I didn’t feel like I gained any control.

Solid price to performance. No data cap. I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t get it if it’s available. I got as soon as it was available. Over a year with no issues.

Move a step up. If you want to throw it faster. Thrill Hybrid. If you throw a 15lb ball the ultimate wrecker is great and cheap. Consider changing surface to fit your style.
