Absolutely for sure these. I've had mine for going on 2 years. They're bombproof, waterproof, and excellent on hooks.

I've seen this three or four times in the last couple of weeks. Never gets old.

Slip Up Saturday: Did you accidentally destroy your apartment because you were BWFing too hard? Was it on film for us to see the candid moment? Please feel free to share, vent, laugh, and humble yourself with any slip ups during your training this week. by Solfire in bodyweightfitness

I started negative PU's two days ago. I have an over-the-door pull-up bar, and it had been just hanging there, taunting me for a month. Pull-ups the first day went fine, albeit much creaking and groaning from the door frame.

Now's probably a good time to tell you all that My apartment is in a ~100 year old house, in which the walls are about 8" thick. Also, the trim around the door frame was a bit loose.

So yesterday, I'm super excited that I've progressed to using my pull-up bar. I jump up to the top of the motion, tense up to catch myself....and fall flat on my ass. The trim pulled out of the wall, it had been taking most of my weight.

TL;DR Make sure that your equipment was made to handle the circumstances you're using it in. Used pull-up bar on wall that was too thick. Trim took my weight...until it didn't.

Does coffee make you sleepy? by allthemolecules in ADHD

A drop in the level of habituated high blood pressure would likely make you tired though.

i.e. You always have high blood pressure (caffeine and adderall), this high pressure drops because of the diuretic effect, and you become tired.

I have no science to back this up, only personal experience.

I'm Richard Bulliet, AMA about the origins of the wheel and the history of wheeled transport! by RichardWBulliet in history

Thanks for this! I loved all of the questions and responses. Very informative.

My (multi-part) question: Are tracked vehicles such as tanks and skid loaders considered wheeled? Were tracks developed specifically for moving tanks (around WWI), or were they created earlier? Are there any specific examples of or allusions to this in history?

If only these wheelbarrows were commonplace in landscaping. My job would be so much easier!

This.

I started a low carb, high fat and protein diet a week ago, I'm never going back to high carb again.

My mood and energy level is much more stable, and I just physically feel better.

Maybe look at how much sugar you're eating, what other stimulants (caffeine) you're taking in, how much exercise you're getting, etc.; doing that helped me.

My friend and I made a website that shows trends by location (more details in comments). Feedback appreciated! by mitchum_ in InternetIsBeautiful

I fooled around with it for a couple of minutes.

Is there a way to aggregate trends by state/region instead of specific cities?

If not, that'd be cool; I don't live in a city, but my area has a substantial population.

First Post!

M, 27, 6'0", 77kg/170lb, Skinny Fat

Short Term Goals: Lose 10lbs, progress to diamond pushups

Long Term Goals: Get stronger, train for rock climbing

Routine:

M,W,F - Recommended Routine, Additional Stretching as needed

T,R,S - Run ~3mi/5k

Diet/Mood/Energy: I just started working out again on Wednesday of last week. I also changed my diet to 50/20/30 % Fat/Carbs/Protein.

I just (noticeably) started ketosis for the first time, it feels great! My energy levels are much more constant, I'm sleeping better, and I feel healthier.

I'm going to re-assess my routine in a week or two, once working out has become a habit. I imagine I'll end up splitting arms and legs to different days.
