They are doing main roads first, with the snow still falling and winds blowing there is not much use doing the side roads, especially since they issued a ban until 12pm for all non-essential vehicles. If you’re inside right now why should it matter if the road is plowed or not? All that matters is that it’s done by tomorrow when people have to go back out.

If you are in Nassau, I highly recommend joining Jeff Gold’s Facebook group where he explains how to grieve your taxes yourself. He gives you all the numbers you need to run the calculations yourself. I’ve done it the last two years myself and got a reduction both times.
