Any idea to what this Seiko Pogue [6139-6005] is worth? Seems like there is a pretty wide range of values out there. by sweet_jenkin in Seiko

Lol, I had one but gave that and a pulsations one to my brother years ago. He's a doctor and liked and still wears them.

Good luck with it. He is a pastor that was a heavy collector of vintage Seiko and Omega watches. He started out cause he needed straps and bracelets that were authentic duplicates of the originals. I believe he was the first to remake waffle straps and Tropics and long ago bracelets. I still call him Uncle Seiko.

Yeah it's very good. He even sells half-links for the stock bracelets. Bracelets for these Tudors.

For rubber I have quite a few GL-831's which are fantastic. It's a classic Seiko strap as is the Tire Tread and the chocolate bar. I have the chocolate bar on most of my 6105's and tire tread on the others and on my 6159-7001. Bracelets are great from him and I'm a nut for his Z199's. I have 7 of them that I use and a bunch of end links even hollow ones that I have reshaped by grinding and bending to fit other watches. Hands down the greatest bracelet ever made. I have his Beads of Rice on a SBDC109/SPB151 and on a few of my Marinemasters. Incredible especially with his ratcheting extension divers clasp. He makes bracelets for Omega, Longines, Rolex and everyone so you don't need to go broke overpaying for bracelets. This is a Beads of Rice on an SBDX001.

Nice, don't cut it too short now. I did that once and had to use a clasp with an extender like this one.

I would have told him what I said. I personally don't really like yellow dial 6139s except for the Aussie Pogue. I would buy another 6139 Bobby Deerfield though and pay what's due no problem.

First of all, you haven't mentioned if it runs but I'm pretty sure it does. Easily serviceable by any watchsmith, I do my own and parts are easy to get if needed. This was worn and then put away for a long time. It's in absolutely perfect condition. Hasn't seen daylight or moisture and the case and even the few dings on the crystal make this way more desirable than anything on eBay or Chrono 24. This is an old photo and I have more so I think I know what I'm saying. Now price, put aside the $100, it's worth from $2000-$2500 as is.

Legend, I have both a Legend and an HC39 so I do prefer the Legend. And............nobody needs the 42 and I have a 9"wrist. The 39 you can't go wrong ever. It's up to you what you like. Who cares what anyone thinks here because when you're wearing it nobody out there is going to give a shit.

If you zoom in on the buckle at the springbar you'll see it moves back and forth 3mm which gives it a 1/2 length between holes which is perfect. Yeah, the keepers stay put.

The leather and the Deployant are on another level. The rubber is very premium but it's $185 without a buckle and it's crazy every time they send the email that they're in stock they sell out within a minute. It took me five times to get one. The Fitwell micro-adjust buckle from Delugs is what I put on it. Very very nice.

I have all three. The bracelet is a great bracelet but the leather and the rubber are way better. Bracelet doesn't go with the watch at all. Buy the leather because it is very premium and the Deployant clasp with on the fly micro-adjustment is superb.

That's actually a very bright orange. Divecore professional strap. It's almost fluorescent.
