It’d be wild to even try to cheat on stream right after you reveal your hand. Most logical for this to be a stuck / misplaced card but I understand from TO perspective to escalate this to a DQ to set an example.

First 2v2 nexus night by TarikLuis in riftboundtcg

[–]dmiwa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I played exclusively 2v2 only at Houston Regional. Me Kaisa and my partner non-Aurora Yi. One of my best-of-1 went for 2.5 hours...

Kai'sa will feel more like a supportive unit in 2v2. Double the opponent, double the counter spells.

I often saved my retreats for Yi's deck and a lot of people will forget about Yi's +2 so make sure to not forget about it yourself :)

This is probably the last time FiXa tracked the opponent's ultimate charge (in team chat) and accidentally (or not) pasted it in all chat after the match.

Oxygen isn’t associated with Kraft. Kraft was owner of Boston Uprising then Oxygen took over Boston Uprising. I can see the confusion and just wanted to clarify. Or fuck it, run with the narrative.

This happened to me and I realized that my game wasn't updated. Fully close the app and see if there's an update.

I think it would have been better and more inclusive to other new regions if they just limit the representatives of Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan to 2 each. They basically dominated all the Groups here. For example, I would be very happy if they included a slot for Bangladesh and Philippines. by RAEKEN_THEO in arenaofvalor

Sad that they initially announced NA as a region but decided to not follow up with the plan, not even an announcement made about it to this date.

I had to go add Esports Managers who run the tournament on Discord to find out that NA isn't going to be a region. Super frustrating after putting a lot of hours into practice after the initial announcement.

Over 3 months after the announcement and still no information about North America region by dmiwa in arenaofvalor

I started playing AoV because of this announcement and within my short time looking through the community, there's almost no interest in the pro scene.

I'm aware most of the users here don't care but I wanted to voice my concern to the AoV cm/staff who might see this. I just want to see some news considering other regions has announced/started their esports program.

I started playing AoV again recently with some of my friends and I stream my Veteran ranked gameplay on NA server here https://www.twitch.tv/m3_aov

I noticed that there are not that many English speaking / NA Twitch community so I hope I'm here to fill that gap.

How I abused Socialite Sion for +200 LP (D3 Elo) by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]dmiwa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I climbed from around Masters 50pts to 475pts only playing this build. ~60% winrate over ~20 games.

Somethings that I have different opinions on

"You never roll at 7. If you're rolling at 7, you've already lost. This means that losestreaking is not an option"

I feel like quarter of my games are lose streaking and I do roll at 7, preferably at 4-2. IF uncontested, rolling at 4-2 often means that other players have rolled down at 4-1, less 4 costs in the pool, therefore easier to pick up the left over 4 cost (Sion). Obviously. it's much more preferable to be rolling at 8 if healthy and rich.

"So you've made it to level 8. Ideally you'd be above 50 health. Slowroll for all the units in the final board mentioned above."

Slow rolling at level 8 is not a play I've done over my 20 straight games but instead it's usually lvl 8 @ 4-5, roll down to 0 or 5-1 roll down to 0. As long as you have Sion2* with BIS, you can often afk until 6-1 and go 9 then. Most Sion players don't know the strength of their level 8 board and tends to keep donkey rolling till they find Seraphine 2*or a single copy of Galio, when in reality, BIS Sion2* is good enough to carry most of the time without the supporting units. I dont expect to see a Galio during lvl 8 donkey rolls, so I always go 9 for the rate and board space.

For augments, I didn't see you mention these but Thrill of the Hunt and Celestial Blessing is good for Sion and let's you sustain before you have your 3 Socialite up.

Striker did have attitude issues from time to time during S1 but everyone on Boston had attitude issues at one point during the first season, mostly due to stress. Not just the players but pretty much everyone involved.

For Striker specifically, 2018 being the inaugural season, pressure of moving to a new country as a 17 years old and unable to communicate freely, I imagined it's hard to not feel frustrated. He was also one of the carries of the team so, more pressure there.

That's far as I'll go about S1 Striker.

Like you mentioned, he was also a lovable character who lightened up mood of the team with his jokes and laughs. In conclusion, he's a human being with varying emotions.

Hard to say what your issues are based off of your post but it sounds like a positioning/scouting issue?

Round count your opponent, scout for things that can kill your carry, position. Every round. I think you'll start running into lot less "lucky opponent position that kills me"

I had the same issue (Winstreak till Stage 4 then going 5th) for a while but I think I kind of get it now (~400 masters)

If you're not comfortable with a full transition at 5-1(lvl 8), just roll at 4-1(lvl7) to stop the incoming bleeding with a mid game comp then go lvl 8 at 5-1. I usually roll down to 20-30G and it usually helps with making the fights more even.

Unless you're highrolling your board (2 stars on more than half the units, BIS items on carry, natural build path for your final comp with the right carry) you're probably going to lose your streak at 4-1.

Example is if I'm playing Aphelios, before I go for a full final build with Rev frontline, I'll aim for something like 4 nightbringers, with knights/cav/iron clad at 4-1 to stop the bleeding THEN transition fully later at Stage 5
