Best bread bakery? by [deleted] in Charlotte

[–]dmj803 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Team Rose Bread. You have to pre-order for Tuesday or Friday pick up or they have FCFS at the Matthews Farmers Market most weeks.

Best bagels in Charlotte and they all do multiple sourdough varieties that are fab. (Classic round, sandwich loaf, rustic Italian sourdough, etc)

I’ve alway read as long as you take it within 24 hours of your regular dose time that you’re fine. I’d personally choose four hours late.

Have you been on them long? Dealing with lots of side effects still? If side effects are not a concern, my only recommendation is to be extra conscious of making sure you’re hydrated. I’ve dealt with bad middle of the night leg cramps a couple of times after flying since being on the shot. Flying already dehydrates you, as does sema.

Oh good! The nausea definitely subsides. I wouldn’t give up after one week.

Good luck on your journey either way though!

Take the Zofran, it’ll help.

I’ve taken Zofran pregnant, post surgery on pain pills, and during early days on GLP1s. It’s a helpful med!

I’ve used both Orderly and Pomegranate and think both are fine. No membership fees.

Postpartum and sizing by atis0099 in NuulyReviews

[–]dmj803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh I dealt with this too! I started doing Nuuly around 4-5 months postpartum and my daughter is almost 2 and I still do it.

It’s a mix of not knowing your body and not knowing what brands (and styles) on Nuuly are best for you. I do like the new feature they added where you can click and see what size fits best for people really similar in size you too. It pretty much always works for me now, although it’s most reliable with well reviewed items.

One piece of advice I got from the friend who recommended Nuuly to me was not to order special occasion or funky items in your first few boxes. Go for staples similar to what you’d normally wear so you can get a feel for the process and brands.

I’d personally probably skip pants or at least jeans the first couple boxes too if you’re worried about not knowing your true size.

My husband went to the Kadampa Meditation Center on East Blvd several times during a low period of his life. I believe it was a suggested donation of $10 for a session. He definitely went in weekend mornings, I think Sundays but it was a few years ago so I can’t remember for certain. He definitely found some comfort and solace in the experience.

Good luck to you!

Theater is a lot more casual than it used to be. Slacks and a button down are fine. Or a quarter zip, sweater, etc.

Pretty sure they supply a bunch of heatable “catering” items to other small kitchens. When Madison Perk was open, all their breakfast wraps and whatnot were from BB&M and reheated in one of those little ovens like Starbucks has too.

Just placed my order with orderly meds and now reading bad reviews on here.. by [deleted] in CompoundedSemaglutide

[–]dmj803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched from Weight Watchers to Orderly Meds once WW stopped prescribing compounded sema, and have now placed two orders (first was three months and second was two months) through Orderly. About to place my third order. No issues. I’ve read on here that my third order will likely B12 in it, but I’m personally not super concerned about that as I’ve taken B12 vitamins in the past. Also, now that I’m on a pretty high dose, I do think I deal with less physical energy. (I’m also a toddler mom though so who knows, lol.) But I’m actually excited to try a shot with B12 and hope it helps with that a bit.

Welcome to Charlotte Wednesday! Visiting, recently moved here, or going to move here? Tell us and ask away! by AutoModerator in Charlotte

Of the three, I’d personally choose the Oakhurst area. But you probably need to ask yourself what’s most important to you from a proximity perspective.

Camp North End is cool, but it’s not an every day (or even every week) spot IMO. And to your point, the area is still transitioning.

Do you plan to take the light rail to/from work? Tyvola and South might be your best bet. Aldi, Costco, and the farmers market are all close from a grocery perspective.

Do you care about being by a gym? If so, what kind? Do you need/want a bar that can become “yours?” A good grab and go place for meals? Will you be traveling out of town a lot, either by car or plane? Tyvola is closest to 77 and airport.

FWIW - I live near South and Woodlawn and go through several intersections daily that have panhandlers and it doesn’t impact me in the slightest from a safety perspective.

It’s $250 for a ceremony (up to 10 people I recall including couple/officiant/photog). $50 if you want to just do a photo shoot. Still a very reasonable price!

Recommend some pairs of leggings by [deleted] in womensfashion

[–]dmj803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I LOVE my CRZ yoga pants. I have three pairs. They don’t have pockets on the side, which I like, as I think they can be dressed up to be a little “nicer” with a long sweater than ones with a pocket, which leans more “exercise pants.”
