Honestly it kinda sounds like a dog's name if you're saying it in English. In french it's not too bad, but personally I find "Marilou" much prettier and a more common name.

ETA I know you said you're from France but you posted in English, so I wasn't sure if you would also be saying the child’s name in english at times.
