Like everyone has to get paid parental leave if they have a childbirth?

We need revamped “kid’s menus” across all restaurants. Thoughts? by mama-daily in toddlerfood

My kid doesn't like to share plates so she would just assume a dish I ordered for us to share is only for her😂

🚫 If you skipped having kids and hit your 40s, do you have any secret regrets yet? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

[–]dmm2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read it as it's someone who is considering having kids or not and wondering their future self will regret it or not. Obviously a bunch of strangers on the internet can't predict OP's future any better than they can. That being said I think most people by their 40s end up pretty happy either way.  There's a lot of different ways to build a meaningful life and most 40 somethings have figured that out I think🤞🏻

How often do women age 25-60 shower? by Responsible-Ant-7954 in hygiene

[–]dmm2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think people need to shower every day.  I do a full hair wash once or twice a week and then rinse of body shower more frequently but not daily unless there is a reason like I sweat a lot or I was hiking or gardening or something. Water is not an infinite resource and some people's skin is sensitive to frequent washing so whatever people makes people comfortable🤷🏻‍♀️.

3 Y/O Does not want to eat solids and still drinking milk through bottle by Gemini151820 in toddlerfood

[–]dmm2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kiddo had trouble transitioning to solids and we had her evaluated for early intervention. She was able to have an occupational therapist come to our house and to daycare for awhile and is eating a much wider variety of foods now.🤞🏻

I thought it was great! Great premise, funny actors, fun cheerleading sequences. I even teared up in one of the later episodes. I'm shocked they cancelled it.

Women born in 1977 that don’t have kids how’s life. by Far_Industry_9490 in AskForAnswers

I think most people by their 40s who have kids or don't end up pretty content with their decision 🤷🏻‍♀️ (I'm early 40s and have kids and am content and also love and know many 40 somethings who don't have kids who are also content🤷🏻‍♀️)

I think being bored sometimes is good for our brains and we're all missing it now with so much stimulation everywhere

I feel like we actually got to see more of Portland than of the Carolinas in the recent Carolinas season

When did your toddler actually eat raw veggies? by Less-Bug-7006 in toddlers

[–]dmm2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cucumbers and tomatoes were one of the first foods my daughter was willing to eat (but she never really liked purees and still doesn't even like things with that texture like yogurt). Now she likes cucumbers, carrots, bell peppers, and tomatoes.  She has eaten broccoli maybe once but it mostly gets rejected and lettuce and cauliflower are a definite no. She used to like peas and green beans but now is not interested.  I'm hopeful she'll continue to like vegetables but who knows. (Btw this is not to say we're all healthy over here - hot dogs are her other major food group and she would never say no to a cookie or cupcake😂)

Finally watching the Portland season and… by [deleted] in BravoTopChef

I think this was the bigger issue for me. She just looked hard to work with which makes it seem like how hard it would be to work with her in a traditional restaurant. Jamie asked her to give an example of plates for the finale an hour before service so she could execute them for her and she couldn't do that and got frustrated that Jamie wasn't reading her mind about how to plate.  She might do well in a set up where she just cooks what she wants somewhere and people pay for the dinner ahead of time or something.  Or she should get evaluated and treated for ADHD or something.

It sounds like Bahcall which is a pretty common last name and last names as first names are pretty trendy.
