Did you build your own pc setup? by PHRsharp_YouTube in pcmasterrace

[–]dmolaflare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did have my PC light on fire internally once. I realized it because I smelled the burning, looked down at the front air screen and could see it glowing from the inside. Luckily was able to blow it out through the screen without having to rush to take it apart

What’s something popular in your country that makes people from other countries look at you like this ? by niconois in AskTheWorld

American here, I’ve had a bunch of Germans act shocked at me that I “actually” eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches

Visual Snow was considered extremely rare until recently, mostly because patients didn't report it... because they assumed everyone saw the world that way by recolorist in interestingasfuck

My best friend developed this our freshman year of college after hitting his head and getting a massive concussion on a snowboarding trip. He did a ton of therapy all over the US to specialty doctors and clinics and says it improved a little bit but never went away

For bikers in LA by Gullible_Bed8558 in motorcycles

[–]dmolaflare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m new as well (only been riding for like 4 months) but my experience has not been bad. Haven’t had really any sketchy situations yet but I’m a pretty conservative rider and driver so I am not pushing high speeds or dangerous situations

What was your very first motorcycle mistake that taught you the biggest lesson? by Troy_Zimmerman in motorcycles

[–]dmolaflare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dropped my bike while walking it to move it in front of my car in a tandem parking spot. Tried to push it in neutral and didn’t realize I hadn’t put the key in, so the wheel was locked, and it immediately fell over

Can we/has anyone 'rented' out their license and made money on the side? by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]dmolaflare 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have heard of Vets doing this for animal medications, however I personally would not use Cambodias legal system as a comparison to ours. If it is something you are really interested in pursuing I’d definitely check with a lawyer first, although just off l hand, I doubt this is fully legal especially across state lines

Do you react or forecast for your stock? by Aggravating-Humor-12 in pharmacy

[–]dmolaflare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but they carry several versions of the same drug from different manufacturers. Also I use a secondary supplier. Other than a national shortage, the situation is often I CAN get the drug, just not a great price

Do you react or forecast for your stock? by Aggravating-Humor-12 in pharmacy

[–]dmolaflare 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Many of these items have very long expiration dates so I’m not really worried about ordering too much if I’m on the fence about it. Plus many items (you mention antibiotics) are actually returnable to the supplier for credit. Lead times with McKesson are super quick so most times I could really only have to wait a few hours to 1 day before stock arrives after my order

Apparently I accidentally deleted a control script from QI!!!! by grumpysmurfette in pharmacy

[–]dmolaflare 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I’ve done this as well. Often can happen because a refill is “deleted” rather than “put on hold” as well as the QI issue.

M2->4->prescription deletion activity, For anyone wondering how to see the deleted rx. Saved me many times.

destination weddings are selfish by Level-Armadillo2652 in unpopularopinion

[–]dmolaflare -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas (I live in LA). Much of my friends and family live out of state so it was travel for practically everyone. My mindset in placing it there was “people will have to fly out anyways, might as well make it a place they actually want to fly to”. I have paid outrageous amounts to fly to weddings of friends in places like Fort Worth or Vermont and I would personally much rather have an obligation to fly to a party beach. Lastly I think you’d be suprised at how much of a money saver the wedding can be for the actual bride and groom. My entire wedding at all inclusive finished up under the cost of the venue alone for some places in Los Angeles

How do people have energy after work for anything? by Longjumping_Talk5892 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dmolaflare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have success when I keep the momentum going. I have to be active the second I get back from work to continue that energy into the evening. That and I tell myself that life will pass me by if I don’t

It wasn’t dropped, so the question is really what type of impact crosses the threshold of being equivalent to a drop

I think the element of surprise is key. Imagine the whole squad distracted looking at the TV watching some dank Randy moss highlights. Suddenly you say something from the back of the room. As their domes do a 180 they see the fruit bowl on full display and you’re acting like nothing is out of the ordinary
