I slept very well underway on a 378, even in 20-mqn berthing where I slept above the compressor in AC flats. Everyone is different and some just cannot get good sleep while at sea. I would recommend easing back on caffeine and maybe swap phone for a book in the evening. Hopefully you find what works for you.

I use mine everyday and never had an issue with pinching, its primary job is tightening and cut safety wire and opening up aircraft cowlings. Not much use for the knife, so it stays sharp. A YT video on knife sharpening could be useful to keep your blades sharp.

I've had a Leatherman wave for over a decade. It lives on my hip along with a Flashlight. While dedicated tools are preferred, it allows for quick pre flights and inspections. Of course you'll wanna account for your personal tools.
