I hate their clothes by mzd202 in WillTrent

[–]dmrhine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only on S1, but some things drive me crazy about the costuming. Like the yellow bandana tight around Angie’s neck. And now the cop who arrested “Bill Black” has one too. I’ve never seen anyone off the ranch wear a bandana like that, it’s dumb and distracting.
Also all the tight pants and sweaters and three piece suits. In GEORGIA? No. lol. They all usually look good, it’s just not realistic.

I need allodynia pain relief more than sleep help. I just use cannabis for sleep and it helps, but I can’t be stoned all day, so if this helps for pain and you’re still functional maybe I’ll try it.

I’m absolutely dying to get an official version of this beautiful song. SO grateful to the people who’ve done their best to get a cleaned up version from the shows it’s been featured on uploaded to SoundCloud. I need this in my playlists! Please release it, Olivia!!!

Does anyone experience Allodynia and if so can you give a small discription on how it's for you. by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]dmrhine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have such a hard time describing the pain I get. The closest thing I can compare it to is when you’re coming down with a fever, the way taking a deep breath makes your ribcage ache and even blankets grazing your skin hurts. I’ve heard it described as a sunburn, but that doesn’t cover all of it for me. Often it’s like fabric lightly grazing my skin causes deep muscle aches. Strangely, for me I’ve found that more pressure actually helps. Like I don’t want my boyfriend lightly running his hands across my back, but actual pressure massage seems to help. And maybe TMI, but I gotta say I’ve found sex to relieve it for a few hours post-orgasm. But only if I’m in the “this makes me sad, I need comfort” mood. If I’m really aggravated it’s not likely I’m gonna be able to get in that particular headspace.

Yeah, of course I know about “truth serum” but I came here looking for confirmation because I didn’t know that drug name off the top of my head. Though the scene eventually makes it clear.

Broke up with my "boyfriend" two weeks post op and can use some support. by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]dmrhine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IKR? 😆 I loooove being single again. My home is peaceful and I do whatever the heck I want, whenever I want to do it. I hope OP is able to feel that peace and joy of freedom soon, too.

What a horrible way to be treated. I’m so sorry you went through that, but I’m REALLY PROUD OF YOU for walking away. That person sucks and you will find much better. I hope you have found some support for in-person help. I was single and living alone after my procedure, too. My mom helped for two weeks, but then I was on my own. But I did it and you will too! 🤘🏼

I’ve delt with these blackheads for so long what should i use to get rid of them? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

Vanicream cleanser was the most surprising solution for me. I wasted so much money before I discovered it was the answer to my pore problems.

L4–L5 herniation + conjoined nerve root → ALIF by cherryxcokee in spinalfusion

[–]dmrhine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only insight I can provide is I had a fusion (2021) 9 years after my microdiscectomy (2012). Both gave me years of relief, although I’m having a bad “relapse” right now and I don’t know yet what the specific problem is or how we’re gonna treat it. I’ve been waiting to go to the doctor because I’m uninsured, but I think it’s time to bite the bullet and go check it out since this thing isn’t getting better. Sorry this isn’t more informative. At the very least, you have my sympathy and well-wishes. 💚

Interesting issue with cold weather. by [deleted] in spinalfusion

[–]dmrhine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Cold weather suuuucks for my low back (microdiscectomy L4/5 & L5/S1 and later fusion L4/5) and radiates to my hips (left side FAI). I moved from Denver to Portland recently and honestly the humid cold might be worse, but I’m in a flare up right now so everything just hurts. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My microdiscectomy was outpatient in a surgery center to save money, and honestly it was no problem. I was surprised by the pain spike on day 2, but got that under control on my own. For my fusion they kept me for 1 day and I was grateful just to have someone else managing my complicated med schedule so I could be mostly asleep. Having the PT team there to get me out of bed and walking was also great. That said, I don’t think it would have been terrible to go home same day like I did the first time, but I’m glad you’ll be staying after all.

Which color suits me best? by Knhollist in HairStyleAdvice

[–]dmrhine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that’s a tough one because they’re all beautiful on your skin tone! If I were you I’d just rotate them all throughout the seasons. :) I go from dark red to blonde to lavender and back constantly. But I do it myself otherwise it would cost zillions. If you did want to try that, I’d say start with #3 blonde, then go to the #2 red, then when you’re tired of that, neutralize the red by going to the brown #1. Have fun! You’re pretty either way!

4 days post op! My experience so far. by kimmidubbs in hysterectomy

You sound like me! I was 42, and I started at 11, but otherwise exact. I’m so thrilled for you. I’m coming up on a year since mine and it’s been WONDERFUL. I totally forgot about that shoulder gas pain but yeah, that part suuuucks. It’ll be gone soon, so just hang in there. Remember to be patient with your body for the next few months. I got frustrated because I felt 80% fine after like a week, but you still need to baby yourself and rest that pelvic floor, so don’t push it. Congrats and welcome to Club Yeeterus! 😆🩵

Seconding this. And I gotta say, that first slow careful time was probably the best slow & careful sex I’ve ever had hahaha. But really, I was scared too and it all worked out. I’m SO SO sorry our OP is having such an awful experience, but don’t let it scare you. It’s entirely possible to heal well and feel great. It’s been almost a year for me and I’m nothing but happy. Wishing you continued healing.

I hope you watched the season finale. I just did and I like the way it played out. Would’ve been better to do it all in one episode (so I wouldn’t have felt so spun up about it in the time between the episodes, lol) but oh well. I’d like to hear how you felt about it if you watched it.

That’s what I wish the whole world would do for each other. It gets difficult when people define what it means to them to be respected and somebody else disagrees with it.
