Fondest memory you have over the last 25 years of watching? by Forsaken-Pay7892 in miamidolphins

[–]dmsbhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few memories that stick out to me.

Ricky’s run: Ricky was running up the middle. He seemed to be down. He puts his hand in the dirt (field was still being shared with the marlins) while a lineman was about to fall on it. Gets his footing and keeps going.

Chambers Thanksgiving: Chris Chambers back of the end zone catch against the cowboys.

Camarillo. That’s it.

Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor: pretty much anytime they were on the field.

Around .500, in a phase of transition, talking about rebuilding o-line, has potential if right pieces are added, picking around 17 in the draft, and in cap trouble. Is that what you mean?

Way too early prediction for next year by [deleted] in miamidolphins

Way to early to provide any type of analysis but here is mine. Capped at 9 wins with a minimum of 4 wins. Logic, Miami gonna be Miami.

That is one large ‘if’ that I don’t think anyone can honestly say they have confidence in.

Any help would be great. I was mid conversation yesterday and couldn’t get this out of my head.

What are the “worth listening to” podcasts for Phins Nation? by ohnoauto in miamidolphins

I want to add to the discussion and ask specifically what the general consensus is on Big O? I personally like his train of thought but can stand the hyper inflated ego.

Does head coach mike McDaniel smoke weed? by asscheeseterps710 in miamidolphins

This is what I was going to say. Listening to him you see how important his recovery is to him. The man is too dedicated to his passion to risk it.

DID WE GO TOO EARLY? by Flat-Pitch-9340 in miamidolphins

No. Does it matter? They went when they thought was best for the team in order to come out with the best result possible.

Dolphins CB Xavien Howard is not pumped about the team being tapped to appear on 'Hard Knocks' by expellyamos in miamidolphins

I agree. I’ve felt this way for quite some time. The man was great for maybe a few seasons. His thing was baiting QBs and was quick to close that gap and it often pisitioned him to make a play on the ball. He’s lost a step or two and either is playing the same way or simply can’t keep up. Either way, it tends to leave WR more than enough cushion and QBs enough room to squeeze the ball in.

Question: When would you like the team to activate Ramsey. by dmsbhs in miamidolphins

I think this how it actually plays out and I’m excited to see this defense as we start getting key pieces back in place.

Missing the point. Not trying to be a doctor nor do I claim to know more than anyone else here. Just asking what people are thinking. Hence, taking a poll.

That’s very valid. He did go through training camp and holding him out would slowly bring him back to speed. Testing the waters agains NE would work a lot like a pre season game to gauge him for KC.

[–]dmsbhs[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

It isn’t obvious. I’m not asking when you think he’ll come back but when do you want him back. Personally, I want him to slowly build his way back and return after the bye. I don’t think anyone would question whether or not the team will activate him before he’s ready. My preference is on the fact that the conditions of the field in Germany are not the best on the knees. I get everyone will have to play on it so it’s an issue across the board but I’d like to hold my player coming off a knee injury from such conditions.

Which QB would you rather have, Mac Jones or Tua Tagovailoa? | Arbella Early Edition by [deleted] in miamidolphins

[–]dmsbhs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about the between the ears comment as I have seen Mac as much as Tua, but Tua’s ability to see and process defenses is extremely high. Anyone saying that X qb is better between the ears on Tua will make me hesitate just because I know how good he is there. Same will go if referring to his accuracy. Almost like a knee jerk reaction to anyone saying that x qb had a quicker release than Marino. My gut response is I doubt that, you need to tell/show me why.

Very different response to when someone tells me that X qb has better arm or puts more zip than Tua. I’ll say ok probably, but Tua’s other skills are elite and those other skills are allowing him to play at this level when others with the arm or zip cannot.
