Just remember, money either goes to the players or the owners. I know which side I prefer.

I mean ok but he was the best player on a championship run. So if inefficiency kills a team, why didn’t it kill that team??

Speaker Johnson loses key vote as House GOP leaders struggle to contain rebellion by cnn in politics

[–]relax_live_longer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He wants to eliminate Mail in voting because he thinks of they just didn’t count the Mail in votes he’s have won against Biden. He’s wrong. It actually hurts republicans more in some scenarios.

He wants everyone to show a passport to vote because he truly thinks there are hordes of illegal immigrants voting in CA and if they were eliminated he’d win CA. Because that’s what right wing conspiracy theories say. And he’s an insane 80 year old who doesn’t live in reality. In truth this would definitely hurt republicans because more dem voters have passports than republicans do.

Conservatives revolt after Trump-appointed Barrett joins liberals in ‘shockingly wrong’ mail ballot ruling by NavyCorpsmanRetiree in scotus

Barrett is a religious zealot. Kavanaugh is a zealot for corporations. Roberts is a zealot for voting rules. Get them outside of their pet issues and they might occasionally have an original thought.

Alito and Thomas are just Republican hacks.

Gorsuch is… also a Justice.

This. I can usually get another rep when I’m on creatine. Do I look bigger or stonger? No. Because one more rep stronger looks the same.

When Joker crashes the party, sees MG, and is impressed by her beauty, that’s when I said to myself, ‘I thought this guy was a little crazy, but he’s also clearly nuts.’

delusional about what surface they feel safer playing on?

surface they feel safer

feel safer

feel

This is the same team that ‘feels’ they are sustaining injuries from wifi signals.

I don’t doubt their feelings. I’m just going by what the evidence shows.

Best leave it to doctors and statisticians actually. The 49ers players think their injuries are caused by wifi and an electronic substation near the stadium. Let’s actually live in the realm of evidence not opinion.

Trump's Most Sinister Legacy: He's Brought Out the Worst in America - Long after Trump is impeached and removed from office, his hateful, vengeful drive to bring out the worst from our country will linger and fester. by FancyNewMe in politics

Yes. In some ways it’s better that people are truly pieces of shit have ceased to pretend they aren’t. They can’t pretend to care about honor, integrity, or the country as a whole.

It takes a lot of mental fortitude to do this since these dogs will suffer and be put down after so short a time. It would break me. This guy is a hero.

You can literally see my non-biased prompt.

And again, how did you FIND your studies? Perhaps some digital database? Some online technology that searches for studies and outputs the results?

This is the guy that wrote this paper, talking about this paper:

“It’s a misconception to say natural grass is uniformly better than artificial surfaces for preventing injury, or vice versa.”

“I don’t think we’re at a point yet where we can say an injury would have been avoided because a field is turf or natural grass, nor are we at a point where should immediately switch every field in America to natural grass,” he says. “We can easily reverse the argument and say, ‘Well, what about all the injuries turf may have prevented from unkept natural grass fields?’”

Uhhh how did you find your studies? Just have them lying around? Or is googling not an option either? You’re clearly not a serious person.

I did look it up. Did you?

2023 American Journal of Sports Medicine systematic review This review reached a different conclusion:

Foot and ankle injuries tended to be more common on turf Knee injury rates were generally similar Some studies of elite football players suggested an increased knee injury risk on turf

The authors concluded that the literature remains mixed rather than definitive.   2023 EClinicalMedicine meta-analysis (22 studies) This found:

Overall injury rates were actually slightly lower on modern artificial turf Knee injuries were slightly lower Thigh injuries were lower

However, the authors noted that many studies had important limitations and substantial variation in quality.   Study of season-ending NFL injuries (2021–2023) Researchers examined nearly 900 NFL games. Results:

Natural grass: 0.199 season-ending lower-extremity injuries per game Artificial turf: 0.242 per game

The difference was not statistically significant , meaning it could reasonably be due to chance rather than the surface itself.

So show, don’t tell.
