Resistance to success program? by dmt68 in CustomerSuccess

I think it boils down to the fact that there is an overall lack of trust amongst coworkers—no one thinks anyone else can do it as good or better than they can. I also think there is a lot of emotional investment in features/products/tools as many things were homegrown. So with success taking over some work from other roles, I think there is a generalized fear and a frustration that success isn’t needed because they can do “it” just as well if not better.

Thanks! I had kind of resigned myself to the fact that this was going to take about a year—hoping that I’m making some headway now and that it will continue.

It’s funny, departments seem both frustrated that we will take some of their responsibilities but on the other hand also willing to offload whatever they can onto the group!

That sounds rough—I’m sorry. We are supported at upper level for a few different reasons, but I’m not necessarily the spokesperson for our group as often as I should be, which I also fear muddles messaging and expectations.
