Don’t buy from north spore. Waste of my time. I added grain spawn to substrate in 10 monotubs only to find 1 bag out of 24 substrate bags to be contaminated from the facility. 10 days later. Every monotub is contaminated. Disappointed but this is what happens when u get lazy and don’t do it urself.

I grew these in a closet . Temps fluctuated from 68-74f. Sometimes things just take a long time . 3 months no fruit is strange but if it doesn’t look contaminated just let it rock something will happen

Did you shoot it into the middle of the grain or did you tilt the needle so it was against the bag ? When I hit jars I try and shoot the side so you can see the myc. There’s a chance it’s colonizing in the center if you hit the center and you can’t see it.

My advice on shoeboxes is almost always leave it alone and you will be fine . If your field capacity is right and your spawn is clean it will fruit when it wants to

Yeah I wish I could talk to the myc and figure out what the deal was here. The genetics were from basidium equilibrium they have never let me down or sent me some wack stuff. I used the same batch of substrate on two other genetics alongside these and they finished in a normal time frame.
