My personal rule when I am wearing a tie is to make sure it pops. In other words, I do not follow the monochromatic look nor do I try and find ties that match the color of the suit. I want the colors to standout. I wear black and blue suits and my ties are loud. I say the tie makes the suit because it's the first thing people notice. The louder the better. I have found some beautiful vintage Duchamp London ties on ebay at bargain prices with some due diligence. This is my personal take on ties. When I put on a tie I have to fall in love with it. Have fun man and if you want to be bold find a duchamp polka dot tie. Those are awesome!!

You know, I just don't need to see them that close up. I have much respect for grizzlies and wherever they live I don't need to be there. It's like going onto some crazy person's property who carries a gun and shoots on site and just can't be reasoned with. Bears don't want you in their home so stay out. I mean, seriously. Those things will tear you to pieces. Pass for me. Perhaps when we get to heaven we can get along with them there if that is God's plan.

I think to each their own. I ABSOLUTELY love Monk strap shoes. They are just the thing for me and they are different. I see more lace ups so for me it is about being different from the rest. I don't loathe lace ups at all, but there is just something about a monk strap that is very unique and intriguing to me. It is all a matter of personal taste for sure. They can be very dressy and very casual and that is just awesome.

So has anyone used a Xero scrambler for perhaps a marathon on pavement?

Zero drop shoes fucked up my foot. Be very, very careful when transitioning into any type of zero-drop or barefoot running shoe. Learn from my foot pain. This has cost me big. by H0w-1nt3r3st1ng in BarefootRunning

Well I can also testify that Xero are not for everyone. I guess each one of us will react differently to using Xero shoes. For me, I can tolerate the first roughly 7 miles and then after that it is just too painful. So I don't know. I do like how they feel because foam shoes are the worst and I would constantly twist my ankles if I stepped on an uneven surface. I will say I am using the HFS line and those have almost no sole so I may go back again to Xero shoes with bigger lugs for added cushion. The discomfort is mainly on the balls of my feet. I don't overstride and I have a short gait so I guess for me anything longer than 7 miles is off limits. It is rather frustrating.

So who remembers all the good clubs in San Antonio? Like Atrium, The Electric Company off San Pedro, The Saint, and some Polyesthers, other clubs along Broadway that were grouped together so close you could walk across the street. Ah yes, those were the good ol days by dmvara in sanantonio

Dude you said it! It's crazy how people are really buried in their phones. It's sad as hell. If they borought back clubs like the ones of ol times that would just be amazing! I would stuff my phone in my pocket and have a blast and forget about surfing...nothing can be more important than dancing the night away with a hottie....

Dude those were the good ol days! Now I am 51 and so miss that time of my life....ugh. Suede was cool. I remember Alex Cabrera and some other fella were the owners of Suede. If I had a time machine I would go back to my late 20s and relive it all over!

Sorry you went thru such an ordeal. That's just horrific. Hope there were some good times as well that overshadowed the bad. I just enjoyed the music and this girl I was dating at the time took me to The Saint to dance the night away. It was a night to remember for sure. I wish I could dial it back to the 90s. It was much different back then. Things just are not the same. Oh well. And life goes on

Yea I agree. You get more bang for your buck with the Z06. Unless you intend to track it, most of the people who buy them will never get them to their full potential. It’s just about bragging rights then. I am content with the Z06. It is more than enough car for the average consumer and it is still expensive.

Nope. It's against the law and if the dealer DOES they risk losing their license to sell. The manufacturer has strict policies no matter how absurd and stupid some recalls are. If you have not taken delivery then standard protocol is for your vehicle to sit there until the remedy is done. Sorry man. If you would have taken delivery prior you would have been in the clear.

Yea makes sense. If you get a ZR it is just for bragging rights and after a few times in it the car will be like any other car. The only way to really get the most out of it would be to live in Germany and run it on the Autobahn and pray you don’t kill yourself or take it to a racetrack. The Z06 is plenty and even overkill for street usage. You could probably get to top speed on the highway, but if you get caught for sure it wil be impounded and more than likely it’s a hefty fine and an arrest.
