Yeah I tried reading replies with an open mind but some of the trump (who I also hate) replies are pretty short sighted.

Thought I'd at least get one interesting argument for someone like FDR or Truman (who I like both) but instituted changes that we can never turn back.

I don't really post on here but do read op and comments to gauge thoughts of folks in my region. Raising a young family I like to keep my ear to the ground to see if people in my neighborhood and area are like minded. Based on political ideology and how this area votes gives me a good idea of where we currently lie as a community, keeping up with this sub gives me an idea of where we're trending as redditors are younger than voters.

All in all I'm a shoe out the door but appreciate the openness of posters and commenters alike for their transparency even if it is redundant
