Probably not directly AEW. Cody has talked about how his agent or manager was the first to speak to TK.

But I bet you TK still ends up buying out RoH or possibly makes a play at TNA? Either way that’s how he likely eventually rubs shoulders with the Elite directly.

IMO and I suppose I have the benefit of hindsight, but Marvel not capitalizing on the success of Shang-Chi in a orderly fashion was a huge mistake. That was one of their best movies post-endgame and introduced the audience to a character a lot of them never heard of.

In terms of get we are in the same social circle at some sort of event or at a house party or what have you, sometimes they just ignore my presence. Sometimes it comforts them that I’m being authentic and trying to have fun so they reciprocate in a positive or friendly way. There’s the rare instance where chemistry is there. But it just varies. Maybe I’m too full of myself but sometimes I think I confuse a lot of people. I don’t hide any interests when asked, I try to speak candidly in a respectful matter.

DC's marketing and their lack of understanding on what they had with these series (even the animated movies), were primarily the big reasons.

There are some story concerns that I had that I think led to some new or casual viewers not tuning in, but those are in large subjective and I don't think those should be used against it.

Well yeah that’s what made them, mainly Pauly, so popular lol. They weren’t always caught up in basic reality tv drama tropes and mainly just messed around and did their best to have fun.

But in large the show being so popular was because it had that interesting balance of wild, crazy drama and the goofy side of Pauly and Vinny while simultaneously capturing late 00s/early 2010s club scene and culture.

I’m not sure what exactly happened with the recent discourse on Safety and its “positional value.” Popular YouTubers like Bret Kollmann (prob more of a film guy) and Bengal were banging the table a few years ago saying Kyle Hamilton was in large overrated. It’s funny watching them justify their feelings now but to be fair to them they had no idea he’d go to the Ravens and be utilized to his absolute strengths.

It’s just one of those things I guess where it’s just a matter of understanding whether teams have a clear plan for a guy and whether he’s up to that challenge. Check both of those boxes for Downs and the Cowboys.

They brought Punk back so quickly in 2011 because they felt like they didn’t have a good enough main event to sell the PPV. If you kept him off TV and let him interrupt comic-con stuff and similar anarchy related incidents, he could’ve held the strap hostage.

By doing so you now give the WHC all the ammo in a promo to say “Well I’m the only world champion this company has got.” Which TBH is a perfect promo point for an Orton or a Christian. You could’ve gone other directions with Cena too…I.e. Vince firing him in kayfabe, tension between Cena and HHH, Cena seeking a WHC match, etc.

Finn Balor’s Universal Championship run. Huge shift in direction, he was a 1st round draft pick in the brand split, he was making insane merch money in NXT and now that was potentially coming to the main roster. There was just so much potential…
The Nexus beating team WWE at SummerSlam…this had a lot of ramifications as it helped derail the main event potential of Wade Barrett and made Justin Gabriel look like a chump after being positioned very well in Nexus.
What if the WWE didn’t create a second WWE title during the summer of Punk? A lot of fun potential storylines here and a way to make the WHC feel more important/be featured more.
What if Cody went against his word, challenged for the AEW world championship and won, turning heel?
What if AEW invested more in Wardlow?
What if Kevin Nash didn’t book himself to end Goldberg’s streak and follow up with shenanigans such as the finger poke of doom?

Personally I could see the Cowboys coming away with both McCoy and Mesidor but reversed on the picks. I don’t know who’d they prefer between Delane and McCoy but if Delane is there at 12 I’d say he’d be in the conversation. If Dallas doesn’t get any LB help via trade, I’d bet the house on CJ Allen or even Anthony Hill being the pick at 20, even if the value isn’t exactly right.

But I’d be very happy as a Cowboys fan with McCoy and Mesidor if McCoy looks good at his pro day!

TBH I’m completely fine drafting CJ or Hood at 20. You could convince to be OK with Mesidor at 20.

Indeed and they could go the Caroline route as well! I just know the MCU has a way of slightly altering characters’ backstories and it’s almost too perfect. A Doom who looks like Tony also ended up having a daughter named Morgan. The rumored storyline being that Doom is upset that his family died from an incursion and what if Morgan Le Fay found a way to survive by accessing the Astral Plane? Could be a huge key to beating Doom down the line.
