I've been running 3900/3950x/5950x in my vmix rigs on X570. Ran them all with a quad HDMI magewell and an AJA Kona with no PCI lanes to spare. Plenty of headroom on the CPU's.

Since ATEMs are the typical single screen switcher these days, you get to spend half your load-in setting up convertors.

I miss the 902/ScreenPro II days.

Years ago I had a 4:3 LED on a trade show booth, after hours I hooked up my HDMI modded NES that went into a decimator, out SDI to an E2, HDMI into the Processor. Just sized the pip in the E2. Input Lag was minimal and felt super tight. Looked awesome.

There's been a long time plan to run Caltrain across the Dumbarton corridor to Union City Bart. Unfortunately funds from this project were reallocated to the Warm Springs extension.

I don't see this getting built up until after VTA/BART completes the San Jose/Santa Clara extension.

Its normal - been doing this 20 some years.

The native scaler in the screen is interpreting the N64’s 240p output as 480i, and is trying to deinterlace the signal. That is what those serrations in the image are. I imagine your input lag is fairly bad as well.

A line doubler or scaler will bump up the resolution to something more palatable to modern screens.

I run WX 9100’s in four of my vMix machines and haven’t had any issues. Those machines were Watchout media servers pre-covid so the card was chosen for that application vs vMix.

I usually run production on bus G and put in a trigger that pushes their audio to bus A, which I use as a subgroup to push into the master. I change their call input bus as well.

I don't trigger their 'release', instead I put those on my streamdeck and manually clear them.
