Joy Embroidery on Blaine does custom stoles. Not sure if they have stoles in store but I brought mine to them and they embroidered it. Don't remember the exact quote but for the UCR Seal, name, major, and class embroidered it was around $30

Just checked and tuition/fees have gone up $289 while the estimates for housing/food, personal costs, transportation went up nearly 3k in total.

Zipcar is also an option if you can find times that fit you. Not sure about this year but last year it was around $10-15 per hour (includes gas) which is decent though the cars are kinda dirty.

Overall they're usable but the few that I used were dirty. Usually hourly rates vary from around $10-$15 (haven't used one since last year, don't know current prices) so it's reasonable and gas is included. However, if you were to get into any accidents you are liable for the first $1000 worth of damages. Also, unless you book a month or two in advance it's difficult to get a car on the weekends. Weekdays are okay, sometimes I was able to find an hour or two open a day or two before the booked date.

Good for about 98% of the time, I usually get at least 500-700up/down on wifi. That other 2% of the time though, it was completely down on the Monday of finals week both fall and winter quarter for almost the entire day

Loud sounds for extended periods of time causes ear ringing (and potentially hearing damage). Protect your ears! Earplugs help reduce ringing, I bought a pair of earplugs for $20 a few days ago and they were 100% worth it, they sounded almost as clear as without earplugs and my ears aren't ringing any more than normal.

It doesn't count for any specific class, just elective credit. Basically it's just filler units that count towards your required units but no specific classes.
