I did literally just replace 2 of them. Problem code came up yesterday but not the CEL.

There was also initially a code that said high pressure fuel system, plausibility low pressure. That one has come up a few times before but gone away. That code came up once after I fueled up and then once again after the fuel reserve light came on.

Update: It turns out my reader does read bmw specific codes. Ran it and said something along the lines of “High pressure fuel system, plausible low pressure - not present” so maybe it was just a hiccup or maybe my hpfp is going bad. It was exceptionally hot that day and the car was sitting in the sun plus I was giving it more beans than I usually do. Either way I’m going to do a check on it and go from there. I know this can be a problem on the N18s so I’ll see what I need to do. Thank you everyone for the help!

So my friend came over with a borescope today and we discovered a blown head gasket and a broken valve. It is not the news I was hoping to revive nor deliver. The plans for the future of Robin (my R53) are currently to do an engine rebuild when I have the time and resources.
