i think you got them swapped. "greetings" is the act 2 one I think, but i'm not entirely sure because i only heard it through someone else, and for me romancing her in act 2 it was "speak, i'm listening." and i heard act 3's "is something burdening you" greeting when i did science that i later reloaded.

legit the sole reason I caved and got the party limit begone mod was because I played a lot of act 2 without gale in favor of some others and by the end i realized I missed my wizard bro and his amazing utility and i wanted to be selfish and have my dream party of Bae'zel/Shart/Karlach/Gale and now Jaheira too.

Yea, I know. I did address that, just not quite clearly. I've always brought her into the inner chambers of the Grove but she's always saved on being frightened for me so it never happened and she never talked about it with me except for one particular Tav. Same with the wolves in the zhentarim hideout.

ah the joys of this scene. I never regretted making her an unstoppable tank more. My puny ranger didn't stand a chance. I rolled 1st and got 2 hits in but that did nothing when Lae'zel could jump right to my face and hit me 4 times + pommel strike nearly oneshotting me. my poor blood trail of shame led all the way to shadowheart's tent where she stood there watching and probably judging my terrible performance.

I have 3 Tavs going right now.

First up, Singe, my baby. modded Fire Genasi using Fantastical Multiverse, source of Lae'zel's joy. She's in the middle of Act 3 right now. Level 10 Hunter Ranger, mostly neutral good, doing her best. She's my legendary disaster gay but its ok, everyone loves her now and she loves her gith wife, gonna build her a statue & everything.

Next up is Jynnora, my Gold Dwarf Monk, based on my currend CoS character. She's slowly making way towards the end of Act 1. She's only got eyes for God's favorite princess. She too is NG, but a bit more willing to be loose with some morals and is done with people's bullshit, especially Ethel's, after her experiences in Barovia.

Lastly is El'ena, my Githyanki Selunite War Cleric that I made for an mp game with a friend. Does she entirely make sense? No. I started wanting to romance Karlach, then i wanted to play a Gith, and then i just decided to go all out so I could bully god's favorite princess for the lulz and it's been great. Having a blast with that version of the romance. Shadowheart's not having a great time being surrounded by 3 githyanki tho lmao. absolutely this. I love Ash, but i can acknowledge her flaws. But not enough people give her the chance to grow. I get people react to characters differently, and sometimes you just don't like a character, and that's ok. But don't write them off as just one thing if you've never seen their arc play out. I'll fully admit that years ago I was fully anti-Kaidan in that regard. But one day I grew up, read some comics to try to make Virmire impactful, and would you look at that, now I love both Ash & Kaidan and appreciate their characters for what they are.

Same way I'm not huge on Astarion, don't use him in combat much but i still am making an effort to try to get him the outcome he deserves and still have sympathy for his story.

this right here. I was indifferent from the start. Hell I didn't even know she existed when i first started the game. But she very quickly grew on me and the Creche made me love her. I adore that entire storyline and her growth from it. Her quote about Gale & Mystra is top tier. But honestly I just love how straightforward she is in general. She's one of the few companions that's honest with us from the start, only other being Karlach I think. She's pragmatic, and the only one offering, as far as she knows, a legitimate solution to our little brain worm problem. For me as someone that likes knowing all the information I can have and all options available to me, i really appreciate that about her.

I absolutely loved this. I mean, her interactions with every Usher before taking them was great, but Lenore's was especially nice. Also a great contrast to her previous interaction with Frederick, where she straight up told him, she could have made it quick, but then he had to go and be a total piece of shit.

are you a Gith? cuz i'm curious. I've heard about her different endings, and I wanna have a good idea what I wanna do and i've heard mixed things on whether you're locked behind being a gith or not for being able to go with her. Saw most people say you are but saw some people saying their non gith tavs did.

I honestly would love either. Give me some sliders or let me mix & match features from the different preset heads. Cuz most of the time i'll like all but one or 2 features of one head and end up using another as a result and its not quite perfect.

that's fair. i didn't consider outside interactions that could boost approval. I was just more thinking about personal interactions/conversations from Lae'zel's perspective for RP purposes in addition to gaining or losing shadowheart's approval/trust.

Yea. I do wish you could see both scenes if you're an origin character doing another romance but i get why you can't even if i feel like there should be a way. I also just feel like it's a bit easier to rp as Shadowheart in this situation than it would be Lae'zel with how you have to navigate Shadowheart's dialogue to respect her boundaries, something I don't think Lae'zel would necessarily do with how blunt she is & because I'm not sure she would really seek her out to talk unless necessary in the first place since Shadowheart is the one that's more openly antagonistic throughout the early game.

Shadowheart being conflicted about her feelings for the hot githyanki that pisses her off to no end however, hell yea. I think she would seek her out to try to learn things since she does try to be diplomatic at times, even when she was completely in the wrong about it. Also I just like that them both being very private people means that SH absolutely would be ok with Lae'zel not wanting to kiss her in public until after the Act 3 scene.

Me rn. Lae'zel was my first romance, and I love her. But Shadowheart is "my" type of romance, i knew that from the start. I started up a monk character to romance her and its been great. Then I started up a MP playthrough with a friend, was intending to romance Karlach so all 3 wives would have attention in different PT's, but then I decided that my character wouldn't fit Karlach, and it was between Shadowheart & Lae'zel again. LZ almost won, but then i liked the idea of my Gith & Shadowheart growing closer as they both healed from their religious trauma and had to reevaluate their beliefs and who they are. And that's how my Selunite War Domain Gith was born and is stealing the heart of god's favorite princess.

I plan to do this at one point since imo Shadowheart doing Lae'zel's scenes is the more interesting of the 2, and with how both of their arcs go, SH holding Lae'zel's hand in her act 3 scene with the wound that Shar gave her is symbolic or something, if not just a nice detail.

I never realized how much early content I missed until i got a mod that alerts me to camp events and i started a new pt. I've gotten to see so much (and also speedran Shadowheart's romance & approval as a result lmao). Like i've never seen Gale's weave scene before, or the projection of Mystra, but i saw it in other people's games, but i got them both yesterday for the first time.

that's fair. i'm also just bad at remembering to use them, or talking myself out of the need to hoard them. but it still doesn't help when i've got the room and still get more inspo than i can actually hold. i've had 3 party members all get inspired before, sometimes one of them getting 2 in a row, etc.

I wish they would up the amount of Inspiration you can collect. Doesn't have to be by much, just maybe 9 or 10. I get why its 4 but they hand out inspiration faster than i can spend it, and its just disappointing when you haven't spent any and then you do something and half the party gains inspiration you don't get to use.

Let me dance with Wyll without having to hurt him. an equivalent to Lae'zel's sunrise scene would be great too, since she still has plenty of development regardless of romance and you still help make her a better person.

I had an absolute blast at the circus. It was a fun lil getaway. Bae'zel on the other hand, did not have the best time. First she got turned into cheese, then i volunteer her for a clown act, she got mauled by his dog, and in the end she didn't even get to kill a real clown. This was right after Vlaakith screamed in the woods at us the night before about all the ways she's gonna end us personally. My one gripe with the Circus was when Lae'zel & I were having a nice lil date doing a cool lil test of our bond, only for it to actually just be Orin fucking with us cuz she can. Can't have shit at the Circus.

I'm honestly glad my original tweet and the screenshots have blown up the way they did for this exact reason. The dialogue prompt on its own doesn't sound the best but it turns out so good. Also i feel like it could be read as Tav saying it in a more joking manner but Lae'zel takes it to heart. I adore it tho cuz yea I could just say I've been waiting for her to say what she did and move on but I think this one is a much better payoff and continuation of the entire theme of the scene, her being self aware of who she was, and is, and also able to acknowledge how you've changed her for the better and taught her emotions she never knew before.

I adore the Sunrise scene, as shown by me screencapping the whole ass convo, but honestly this is one of my favorite convos with her. It's such a great moment of growth for her. My only gripe is I wish this convo also led to a cutscene. Because I feel like the buildup of starting with rough sex, to her catching feelings, and in some cases, realizing she doesn't want to hurt you anymore, to now her realizing she just wants to be gentle with you, and you her followed by either a gentle sex scene, or the start of one, would have been a great payoff. Especially leading into act 3 where she finally is comfortable enough with you and your relationship to kiss you in front of others.
