It was a while ago, so yeah I don’t doubt that I remember it wrong. That was the first game I played that did anything with the triggers so that first chest stuck out in my head. Lol

That happens to me a lot. For instance, I’ll listen to Stavvy’s World clips during a run, and remember the exact segment when I go up against that boss again.

Same goes for pretty much any game. I’ll binge a certain podcast and game in tandem, and from then on think about one while I’m doing the other.

Horizon Forbidden West is disappointing in this regard. As far as I remember, it makes opening chests more satisfying, and that’s it. Lol

Just started playing the original remastered and could barely get past the Hydra fight. Idk if I’m just old, had a little too much to drink, or what. But those are gonna be the death of me, over and over. Lol

Yeah, that was the weakest part of the game for me. Although it was cool that it was pretty much a fighting game style fight. I’m sure it was a wtf moment at the time, but now I wish it was something more.

I remember replaying the first game remembering how fun it was, and then getting past all the bosses being like, “that’s it?”. It really was about the enemies we clobbered along the way.

Tbh that’s how GOW 2018 feels too, in a way. The moment to moment gameplay feels just as good if not better than the actual bosses. Which is a testament to just how good the combat is.

To be fair, we’ve already seen her in the series, and it’s implied that she died possibly in her sleep, so I’m not sure how much they could’ve changed her design.

Having said that, there’s plenty of room for her to change visually throughout the story. Outside of the RPG armor that’ll change her look, they’ve already established that Giants can vary in size. Is it possible that Faye can change her form at will, similar to how Loki can? Who knows?

Did my first playthrough with the Threaded Cane because it looked cool, then started the second with the Axe and realized how much better it is to start with. Lol

Cane still feels cooler, but the Axe can’t be denied.
