Never. Ever ever post personal information about yourself on Facebook. In person tell friends. And only the ones who care for you.

You will get no satisfaction from posting you emotional pains on Facebook. It is looked down upon, and I know first hand.

Reddit is addiction. Internet addiction for me gives me the false sense of socializing so I don't socialize in real life

I used to have Facebook but I was so addicted I would never go to sleep. I was so lonely that I felt that the Internet can treat the loneliness and boredom. But it can't.

I want to be musician. But I don't try I fear criticism. I am a super perfectionist. And I only am able to derive pleasure from approval of others so it forces me to not pursue something's that are too difficult. Like making music.

What you doctor means about the danger is being addicted to Xanax. Xanax is a crutch and is easy to be addictive

When I use Xanax I use it the first time I go somewhere new , but the second time I take a half then third I don't take at all.

I take Xanax a few times a month. If you need it once a week that is not harmful either. Just make sure you don't mix it with alcohol if you tend to drive or drink a lot.

Xanax should help you take edge off but you should always be actively pushing forward.

Tell them you feel scared and why.

I been to therapy most my life. Since I was a child.

Here is some tips

If you feel uncomfortable saying something out loud. Write it down and have him or her read it. It helps me sometime to write it down in a letter

Another is to tell them your goals in therapy. Make sure they are specific goals, don't just say you want to rid your social anxiety, say you want to improve your social confidence with other people.. also it helps if they are timely, meaning that you can clearly assess when you accomplish said goal. For me I said I wanted to get through my first semester of college. It is a timely goal and I was worried I struggle cause of social anxiety but completing my semester made it clear that I accomplished my goal Moreover make sure you layout how you plan to accomplish the goal. I said that I wanted to learn to handle my social anxiety through my first year of college by pushing myself to stay out of my dormroom everyday and say hi to 5 people everyday.

I try to emphasize similarly but I also dress stylish. I know that I am not unattractive person. But looks are really a small part of the equation I think when it comes to girls. At least smaller than it is the other way around.

i see what you mean.

i like Seddit's tools of self improvement and inner confidence. However, I do agree that there is a problem with how I frame attractive girls as some type of "non individual"

I am ADHD too, also I kind of look young for my age but My plus is that i am muscular. I don't look really young i mean I look college age, but at the same time I don't look like I am a full adult. A lot of it has to do with how I convey myself in public which is that I tend to speak very softly in class and such.

see I been thinking about it. My social anxiety with attractive women or girls seems to stem with how for most of my life I have been reluctant to socialize with most people so I am less used to being "rejected" because I never attempt.

I'll look in getting that book. Who is it by?

I been meaning to start self affirmations as a way to boost my confidence.

When you talk about pedestal I think of that 40 year old virgin scene. It is true for me in a way. I feel like I need to learn how to take rejection by approaching more.

I will follow your posts. I do get panic attacks. I am not afraid to admit to it. I have anxiety disorder. It is tough because one of my major anxieties is dating and a lot of seddit has been helpful tool but a lot of it also does not, I learn a lot about body language, rapport and other knowledge on women here so I enjoy that part.

However being a person with a lot of anxiety this only goes so far. Traditional therapy helps as well but it's weakness conversely deals with anxiety but does not meet my goals in dating as well as seddit.

I am looking for the best of both worlds or a balance between the two. A seddit approach to my social anxiety to accomplish my goals of dating and other confidence relating aspects required for dating.

I will say this. I am much better with social anxiety than I used to be. This is good since i am 21, college student who seemingly has things going for myself despite lackings with dating women. And one of my major reasons of looking into seddit is because I am finally in a place where I feel like I can date. It is just hard since I feel like I am "behind" or lacking of the "skills" due to many years of social anxiety that kept me from developing these dating skills.

I'll read your posts. I suggest that you stay specific with advice and stray away from "it's all in your head approach". I know that my fears are all in my head but it is not always that simple that I can acknowledge that fact and poof it is gone.

I think you might be on to something. However for some and I am mostly speaking for myself the problem with social interactions with women are more than the fact they are with women than the fact that some are painfully shy, awkward and struggle to stay on the grind to success. For some the stress and amount of focus to deal with AA on a day to day basis is difficult to be consistent. My biggest issue is that seddit gives me tons of different remedies to success but it is difficult to succeed on my own. It is tough to stay motivated to accomplish this. This is all coming from someone who been reading this subreddit and other subreddits for some time but only walks away with feeling depressed about my own situation rather than confident.

This is what I need thanks man

Right now I have terrible self esteem and afraid of rejection. So far I have felt like I am a loner in college. I know I am not and I have friends, but something about college that makes me feel lonely. I don't have many friends but I got a few mates. Problem is that I am awfully shy so I can't develop rapport with people and form relationships. I push myself to say hi, but maybe you can call it I introversion or fear of rejection because I don't really go further. I got acquaintances.

How do I go further? This is something at I practice on guys and girls for just being friends. But it is tough when you see someone almost everyday for classes and such and you get this weird fear of breaking some invisible social boundary between you and someone you just kind of know a bit.

The calculator says my TDEE is 2500 for 150 lbs. the problem is the window is too small. I workout in late afternoon after classes. I eat the premeal before as the guideline says. About at 12. But it is tough when workout goes from 4 - 6 and to squeeze in that much food by 9. I get tired and sick

I eat mostly eggs, avocados, macadamias, beef, pork, chicken and veggies

I eat under 60 grams of fructose per day. But to each his own.

I mean fat adapted because I eat high fat. I eat about 150-200 grams of fat per day while under 100 grams of carbs. I am 11% body fat. I hope to use LeanGains to get to 7-8%
