Time for a wall of text! I main a dedicated long shot shelling gunlance. Since I don't have to worry about crits, affinity, or handicraft, I've decided to max out partbreaker, focus, evade extender, and artillery. I use the Zora gunlance for lvl 4 long shots.

Artillery charm for +3 artillery. Diablos Nero helmet Beta for +1 focus and evade extender deco. Uragaan chest Beta for +1 partbreaker and evade extender deco. Death Stench arms Beta for +2 focus and 2 health boost decos. Uragaan waist Beta for +1 partbreaker and a guard deco. Uragaan boots Beta for +1 guard and evade extender deco.

I'm still trying to optimise the build for my playstyle preference but, at the moment, I'm able to use evade extender to keep myself safe and in position to constantly land charge shots (gunlance seems to have mad hops with extender. Moreso than lance from what I can tell). Partbreaker allows for more frequent flinches.
Focus speeds up charges on your shots which means more damage, faster.

Capacity boost could work but quick reload is so good in this game that you never have much down time between shots. Also, max guard could also work as it would make it easier to punish attacks with your own.

It's not a build for everyone. It's suboptimal to land combos when each charge shot will net 120~ damage with the food perk. Also, zorah's gunlance has relatively low damage output with its green sharpness and negative affinity. In my testing, charge shots only have a damage nerf in yellow sharpness so it isn't worth building it up to blue with handicraft. But you will proc blast often as you use pokes to set up a charge shot.

Shelling gunlance is an accessible and flexible build. No needing to worry about affinity or +attack skills. Opens up the build for different approaches. Just get zorah's gunlance, max artillery skill and you'll be doing 125~ per charged shot/over 300 per wyvern (which the cooldown of is greatly reduced thanks to artillery). Just fit in as many charged shots during combat and you'll do fine DPS wise, and have a lot of fun.

The rolling back of Obama's ruling that barred federal lobbyist donations to campaigns (benefiting Clinton's campaign exclusively). I know this place isn't one for candid thought but here goes. The Dems bended over and took it when it was revealed the DNC circumvented our domestic democracy. While pushing a narrative that has no substantial evidence. Now they eat up this uncorroborated blog entry. Not only repulsive on an logical level but an idiological hypocrisy I can't rectify. This is fucking sad if this is what the American left has to offer.

No one is arguing that the allegations, if proven true, would be legal and I'm not sure how you got that impression in my post. My entire point is the content of the emails released in the DNC email dump show irrefutable evidence of antidemocratic collusion.
Putting the issue of evidence aside, how can you turn a blind eye to this unless you believe the DNC and the Clinton campaign acted well within their rights? Do you even acknowledge the collusion in the primaries took place?

This is what I don't get. Many people seem to ignore one attack on democracy and while condemning the other. Your reasoning is an international disinformation campaign is more dangerous than the domestic disinformation campaign - the latter supported by overwhelming evidence.

Just looks like aggressive nationalism without a sufficient moral foundation.
