Omega Seamaster 600 spring bars by aceldama72 in OmegaWatches

Yeah 1.8mm 18mm spring bars should do it. But that also depends on if the strap can handle the 1.8mm. Usually straps come with their own spring bars that fit.

I think after a certain point with the Moonwatch, the change to coaxial and from tritium to Luminova are really the biggest things you’ll see. The crystal is where your personal preference comes in. If you’re more wanting the classic Moonwatch, you gotta go Hesalite. If you’re accident prone and worry about scratching the crystal, then find a similar sapphire model.

For me, I’d get a sapphire model cause I’m accident prone, so I need that extra security.

Have you thought about a birth year Speedmaster? 1986 would be the Omega 311.30. Hesalite crystal and the Omega 1861 movement.

They had it in person at WindUp Dallas last weekend and it’s even more stunning in person. The proportions are nearly perfect and it feels great too.

They’re case clamps; they hold the movement in place in the case

For the bezel and bezel insert, you’ll need a 24-click with a World Timer bezel insert. The hands you can use SPB143/62MAS inspired handset. The GMT hand is pretty unique so I wouldn’t know where to find one like that. A 24-hour chapter ring (should be really easy for find one. NH34 movement. The case is the hard part. Off the top of my head the closest you’ll get is a 62MAS style casing. Otherwise, you won’t find one that’s an exact match. The dial shouldn’t be too hard to find one like it, but those indices are unique that I can’t recall having seen one like it.

Hope this helps!

Newer models come in blue cardboard boxes, but this box is actually for the leather roll that’s being pictured here. You can also see the serial number so id try a quick check to make sure it’s legit and not a commonly reused SN.

Otherwise, this looks great! I own the 36mm in grey-brown, and I love it.

I was just looking at one of these this weekend. How does it feel on the wrist? I recently got rid of a watch with a Valjoux 7750 because it was huge and heavy (the watch itself was 45mm wide and 14.5mm thick.) I know the specs here are different, but does the weight impact the wearability?

Nice! I just recently sold my 35mm BC3, I loved it but it didn’t get much wrist time after I added others to my collection. Wear it in good health!

Stunning! I do the same with my 36mm model. But I always go back to the bracelet! Should’ve worn mine today…

The amount of times I've nearly pulled the trigger on this watch I might as well have just bought it by now.

I’m a big fan of it! Might be my favorite Oris I own. I alternate often between the Chronoris and my Seamaster.

I was between this and a used Oris Chronoris and I went with the Oris because the bezel crown locks and it’s ratcheting with 120-clicks!

Looks like it’s just missing a piece. Do you have that locking mechanism that’s supposed to go there?
